Updated on October 19, 2013

What is the Thin Red Line?

The Thin Red Line of Courage is a symbol to illustrate the line of firefighters protecting us day and night and to show honorable respect to fallen firefighter heroes. The Thin Red Line of Courage consists of a red horizontal stripe centered on black background. This page is a resource for firefighters from all over the world. Thank you for your interest and be careful out there.

The Firefighter's Bible

Firefighting is stressful on both firefighters and their families. The Fireman's Bible is designed specifically for these who serve us all in this high risk role. It contains devotions, prayers, and suggested Scripture readings for a wide variety of occasions. This is a perfect gift for a fireman who are from family or churches who want to stand with these who are called to risk so much.

I have two friends whose husbands are firefighters and I have so much respect both for the husbands who go out there and do the work they do but for the wives who have to worry about their husbands.

Really bad fire started two days ago over here by one of those nutcases you know and they almost got what they wanted to burn everything down. They have left a whole village with no work because there is no forest left. Everyone is safe though. Truly dismaying news the Firemen were exhausted to say the least they have worked two Days solid with no rest to dampen it all down and keep it to a minimum now its almost out.

Thank God for the Firemen of any Country. I love the Poem gives me goosebumps too. I have seen the devastation in the South of the U.S. as well being caused by the drought we need to stand together as one. Thoughts go to all out there.xxx

Excellent job! I have a tremendous respect for every Firefighter out there who risks his life just to protect and save others. What happened to 911 reminds us everyday of how important the Firefighters in our community. I'm glad to discover the Thin Red line symbol from this awesome lens. It will help me to remember and honor them each day. Amazing lens! God bless you!

I give thanks every day for the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect lives and property in my town. We lost a couple of firefighters a year or so ago, and the sadness remains. May their brothers and sisters continue to be protected.

I have the utmost respect for firefighters . . love that firefighter's prayer. Thank you so much for sharing a creed that too many people lack the courage to follow - in other lines of work. Doing right by another human being, nothing beats that.

      Stay well,
