trump’s CORRUPTNESS IS BEING NORMALIZED.

Updated on June 3, 2018

trump’s corruptness is being normalized.

trump wants his low-information base to believe that he has the powers of a king. That is contemptible that he has such little regard for them. Is there anything more immoral than that?

trump is gradually destroying our confidence in the Justice Department. Having his lawyer and Chief of Staff in the meetings that discussed the FBI informant within the trump campaign shows how trump is incrementally controlling the Justice Department, which is unethical. The only reason they FBI felt the need to have this informant was to protect our country against the threat to our presidential election that the Russians were posing, and that trump was supporting—in collusion with. trump has been sued so many times. He probably always hoped to see what the prosecutors had against him. Now, due to his unprincipled behavior as president, he gets his fondest desired fulfilled. trump’s vileness is demonstrated in his desire to expose an informant.

Mueller has the goods on trump and trump is attacking him.

trump’s pardons are signals to Flynn, and Manafort and Cohen that if they don’t flip on him that he will pardon them.

McCabe had the goods on trump. That is why he was fired. He had already fired Yates and Comey. He has threatened to fire Sessions. trump is dreaming that someday he can fire Mueller and Rosenstein and the Russian investigation will be concluded.

trump is being investigated by Michael Avenatti also.

trump is guilty of conspiring with foreign nationals to win the 2016 presidential election.

trump wants his low-information base to believe that he has the powers of a king.

The article “Watergate prosecutor compares Trump to King George, a 'flimflam artist'” states “Assistant Watergate prosecutor Nick Akerman said Saturday that the idea the president can't be charged with obstruction of justice was reminiscent of King George's rule over the American colonies.

"First of all, the whole idea that he can't be charged with obstruction of justice - the last time that ever happened in this country is when we were ruled by King George," Akerman told MSNBC. "That's what the whole rule of law is about. The president has to faithfully execute the laws."

"If it he winds up having the corrupt intent to put the kibosh to an investigation, that's obstruction of justice ... If I advise someone to take the fifth amendment ... that's fine. But if I advise them with the corrupt intent to do it to cover up crimes I committed, that's obstruction of justice. That applies to the president," Akerman added.

Akerman's comments come after The New York Times obtained and publisheda confidential letter from President Trump's lawyers to special counsel Robert Mueller that argued Trump couldn't have obstructed justice because he has constitutional authority over all federal investigations.

The 20-page letter from January lays out that the Trump can't legally obstruct justice and that he has the power to "terminate the inquiry, or even exercise his power to pardon."

Akerman criticized the Trump administration for trying to discredit Mueller's probe into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, specifically targeting Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, who has been a vocal critic against the investigation.

"They're just trying to put up a bunch of flimflam," Akerman said. "Donald Trump is just a flimflam artist trying to sell more snake oil, and this is another way to package the same snake oil he's been selling to the public through Rudy Giuliani for the last week."”

trump, and his propagandists, simply want to normalize his corruptness in order that he can admit to crimes and have no one caring. trump also admitted that he dictated the statement on the Trump Tower meeting. That seems like perjury, obstruction of justice and abuse of power all wrapped up in one. The MSM is just numb to it and red staters surely don’t care.

The article “'Entirely improper': Anger as Trump lawyer and chief of staff attend FBI briefings on Russia informant” [O1] states “President Trump’s chief of staff and a White House lawyer representing the president in the Russia investigation were present on Thursday at the start of two classified meetings requested by members of Congress to review sensitive material about the FBI’s use of an informant in the inquiry….

But the presence of John Kelly, the chief of staff, and Emmet Flood, the president’s lawyer, infuriated Democrats, and legal experts said their visit, at the least, could give off the appearance that the White House abused its authority to gain insight into an investigation that implicates the president….

At least two lawmakers participating in the briefings told Mr Flood to his face that his presence was inappropriate.…

“Although he did not participate in the meetings which followed, as the White House’s attorney handling the special counsel’s investigation, his involvement — in any capacity — was entirely improper,” Representative Adam Schiff of California, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said in a statement.”

trump is trying to discredit the work of our FBI. The article “Gowdy says FBI 'did exactly what my fellow citizens would want them to do' in Russia investigation” states “House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy said Tuesday he is now "more convinced" that the FBI acted appropriately in its handling of the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible connections to Donald Trump's campaign.

Gowdy's comments come as President Trump continues to attack the department and the bureau over the handling of the Russia investigation.

"I am even more convinced that the FBI did exactly what my fellow citizens would want them to do when they got the information they got, and that it has nothing to do with Donald Trump," the South Carolina Republican said in an interview on Fox News….

Gowdy said in the interview that Trump is not a target of the ongoing Russia probe and told Fox, "President Trump himself in the Comey memos said if anyone connected with my campaign was working with Russia, I want you to investigate it, and it sounds to me like that is exactly what the FBI did.”

Gowdy is loved by the FOX low-information drones. He kept the anti-Clinton Benghazi investigation going on from the attacks in Libya in 2012 until about a month after the 2016 election. How are they going to accept him turning on trump?

Mueller has the goods on trump and trump is attacking him.

The article “Robert Mueller’s obstruction of justice probe is bigger than we realized” states “President Trump's fixation on “no collusion” has long belied this reality of the Russia investigation: The obstruction of justice half of the probe appears significantly more troublesome for him personally.

It's also likely to be much bigger than we realized.

That's the big, reinforcing takeaway from the New York Times's scoop Tuesday night that Trump asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions to un-recuse himself in the Russia probe. It's merely the latest clear example of Trump trying to control or otherwise sway the people who could be in charge of his own fate. And it underlines the fact that he had very few boundaries in doing so.

The Times' Michael S. Schmidt and Julie Hirschfield David report the encounter occurred in March 2017, shortly after Sessions first recused himself:

The president objected to his decision to recuse himself from the Russia investigation. Mr. Trump, who had told aides that he needed a loyalist overseeing the inquiry, berated Mr. Sessions and told him he should reverse his decision, an unusual and potentially inappropriate request.

Mr. Sessions refused.

The confrontation, which has not been previously reported, is being investigated by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, as are the president’s public and private attacks on Mr. Sessions and efforts to get him to resign. Mr. Trump dwelled on the recusal for months, according to confidants and current and former administration officials who described his behavior toward the attorney general.

Rather remarkably, Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani seemed to tacitly confirm the episode in a comment to the Times. “Unrecuse’ doesn’t say, ‘Bury the investigation,’" Giuliani said. “It says on the face of it: Take responsibility for it and handle it correctly.”

In retrospect, it makes sense that this kind of episode would exist. On that list of 49 questions Trump's lawyers believe Mueller is interested in asking Trump, eight of them deal specifically with Sessions's recusal.

Cohen is being investigated by Mueller, Avenatti and the Southern District of New York. The article “Has Michael Cohen Already Flipped on Donald Trump?” states “Multiple reports have indicated that President Trump and his allies fear that Michael Cohen may cooperate with federal investigators. But nothing has indicated this quite as directly as the latest cover of the National Enquirer. The tabloid weekly is not merely friendly to Trump but operated on his personal behalf. Its latest cover accuses Cohen of “Secrets & Lies,” a charge it would be hard to imagine a Trumpist organ orchestrating against a close Trump ally unless it had strong reason to suspect he was turning against his patron.

The danger Cohen poses as a witness to Trump is vast, but at least some of the elements are well known. He has played an integral role paying off women who have sexual relations with Trump, at least one of whom claims to have been threatened. The Steele dossier named Cohen as a point of contact with Russian intelligence in 2016, and while Cohen has denied the visit in question, one report claims that Robert Mueller has investigated and discredited his denial. Cohen is likewise involved with at least some of Trump’s business dealings in Russia.”

The article “Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen was hired by U.S. affiliate of Russian company” states “President Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen was hired last year by the U.S.-based affiliate of a Russian business magnate who attended Trump’s inauguration and was recently subjected to sanctions by the U.S. government, the company said Tuesday.

The New York investment firm Columbus Nova said it retained Cohen as a consultant “regarding potential sources of capital and potential investments in real estate and other ventures.” Though Columbus Nova has been described in federal regulatory filings as an affiliate of the Renova Group, founded by Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg, the company said Vekselberg was not involved with hiring or paying Cohen.”

It isn’t Cohen who might implicate trump, but Jr. might also. The article “FBI obtained wiretap conversations of Kremlin-linked banker who met with Trump Jr: report” states “Spanish national police provided the FBI with tapes of Russian oligarch Alexander Torshin's phone calls with a convicted Russian money launderer, according to a special prosecutor from Spain's attorney general's office, Yahoo News reported. …

Torshin, a close supporter of Russian President Vladimir Putin, briefly met with Trump Jr. at the National Rifle Association's (NRA) annual convention in Louisville, Ky., in May of 2016. Torshin was known to leverage his membership in the NRA for meetings with high-profile officials.”

Jr. didn’t only associate with Russians. trump would deal with anyone who could help him win the election. The article “Trump Jr. and Other Aides Met With Gulf Emissary Offering Help to Win Election”“Trump Jr. and Other Aides Met With Gulf Emissary Offering Help to Win Election” states “Three months before the 2016 election, a small group gathered at Trump Tower to meet with Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son. One was an Israeli specialist in social media manipulation. Another was an emissary for two wealthy Arab princes. The third was a Republican donor with a controversial past in the Middle East as a private security contractor.

The meeting was convened primarily to offer help to the Trump team, and it forged relationships between the men and Trump insiders that would develop over the coming months — past the election and well into President Trump’s first year in office, according to several people with knowledge of their encounters.

Erik Prince, the private security contractor and the former head of Blackwater, arranged the meeting, which took place on Aug. 3, 2016. The emissary, George Nader, told Donald Trump Jr. that the princes who led Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were eager to help his father win election as president. The social media specialist, Joel Zamel, extolled his company’s ability to give an edge to a political campaign; by that time, the firm had already drawn up a multimillion-dollar proposal for a social media manipulation effort to help elect Mr. Trump….

It is unclear whether such a proposal was executed, and the details of who commissioned it remain in dispute. But Donald Trump Jr. responded approvingly, according to a person with knowledge of the meeting, and after those initial offers of help, Mr. Nader was quickly embraced as a close ally by Trump campaign advisers — meeting frequently with Jared Kushner, Mr. Trump’s son-in-law, and Michael T. Flynn, who became the president’s first national security adviser. At the time, Mr. Nader was also promoting a secret plan to use private contractors to destabilize Iran, the regional nemesis of Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.

After Mr. Trump was elected, Mr. Nader paid Mr. Zamel a large sum of money, described by one associate as up to $2 million. There are conflicting accounts of the reason for the payment, but among other things, a company linked to Mr. Zamel provided Mr. Nader with an elaborate presentation about the significance of social media campaigning to Mr. Trump’s victory.

The meetings, which have not been reported previously, are the first indication that countries other than Russia may have offered assistance to the Trump campaign in the months before the presidential election. The interactions are a focus of the investigation by Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, who was originally tasked with examining possible Trump campaign coordination with Russia in the election.

Mr. Nader is cooperating with the inquiry, and investigators have questioned numerous witnesses in Washington, New York, Atlanta, Tel Aviv and elsewhere about what foreign help may have been pledged or accepted, and about whether any such assistance was coordinated with Russia, according to witnesses and others with knowledge of the interviews.“

This contradicts Jr’s testimony to the Senate

The article“Democratic senator says Don Jr. may have lied in congressional testimony” states “Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., said in a letter Thursday that President Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., may have provided "false testimony" to the Senate Judiciary Committee when he was asked last September about the Trump campaign's involvement with foreign governments and foreign nationals.

In a two-page letter to Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, the chairman of the panel, Coons said information in recent news reports contradicts Trump Jr.'s September 2017 testimony.

"I am writing to you because I am deeply concerned that, based on new information we learned this week, Donald Trump Jr. provided false testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee, and I would like to renew my request that he be called to return and appear before the full Committee to testify in an open hearing," he wrote.

Trump Jr. told the committee at the time of his testimony that he was not "aware" of foreign governments other than Russia offering or providing assistance to the Trump campaign and that he had not sought such help”

These trumps have to be honest. trump never has been and realizes his low-information base don’t require facts only arguments that appeal to their base instincts.

trump has no ethical core. Whenever he feels things are going against him he attacks. The truth is against trump this time, as well as the power of our government and our institutions. This isn’t like all of the lawsuits in which he made a settlement or delayed prosecution until the case was dropped.

It is ignorant to suggest that Mueller is meddling in the midterm elections, but of course that doesn’t stop trump, who is ignorant. The FBI had traditionally never released information that would impact an election—prior to Comey putting his thumb on the 2016 election to trump’s advantage. There are rumors that Mueller will not release any of his reports after September for that reason.

The article “Donald Trump accuses Mueller team of 'meddling' in midterm elections -- President offers no proof for allegation about special counsel investigators and says Democrats are guilty of ‘collusion’” states “Donald Trump reached for a loaded term on Monday when without offering proof he accused special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators of “meddling” in the forthcoming midterm elections. The president also said only Democrats were guilty of “collusion”….

Trump has pursued an aggressive strategy towards Mueller in recent weeks, as talks over a possible interview between special counsel and president continue. On Sunday Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani admitted on CNN that Trump’s repeated claim there was a “spy” in his campaign were made “for public opinion … because eventually the decision here is going to be impeach or not impeach”.”

trump and Giuliani know trump conspired with foreign nationals to win the 2016 presidential election and committed obstruction of justice, but they are interested in swaying the low-information red staters into allowing trump to evade justice.

trump’s pardons.

We are in a terrible period of our country’s history. We never have had a more corrupt president since “Tricky Dick’. Who can guess what devastations trump will subject our country to?

The article Trump just sent a clear signal to associates in Mueller's crosshairs to 'stay the course and he will protect them' states “President Donald Trump announced this week that he had pardoned the conservative commentator Dinesh D'Souza, and was considering pardoning Martha Stewart and commuting the sentence of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

D'Souza, Stewart, and Blagojevich were all convicted on charges that Trump and his associates are currently being investigated for or have been charged with.

Experts say people in Trump's orbit who are being investigated should find the developments "quite comforting."

One Justice Department veteran pointed out that Trump's comments strike at two levels: "One, he's targeting the crimes that are the subject of the investigation of his associates, and two, he's punching back at some of those in law enforcement that he thinks are arrayed against him."”

trump's propagandists state that he is considering pardoning himself. Why not? The GOP wouldn't remove him from office for that and that is trump's calculation.

McCabe had the goods on trump.

The article “Andrew McCabe turned over his memo on Comey's firing to Robert Mueller” states “Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe has turned over a memo he drafted related to the firing of his former boss, FBI Director James Comey, to the special counsel's office, according to a source familiar with the matter.

The document, first reported by The New York Times, details McCabe's impressions of a meeting with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein where the subject of Comey's firing came up after he had been dismissed, according to the source.

In the meeting, Rosenstein said President Donald Trump had initially asked him to reference the Russia investigation.“

This just another instance of trump trying to mold Rosenstein’s work. Any ethical president wouldn’t try to sway the Justice Department.

trump is being investigated by Michael Avenatti also.

Want to know why all of the conflicting stories about trump paying Cohen? It is explained in the article “Michael Avenatti: Trump Lawyer Cohen Knew Stormy Daniels Payment Was All About the Election” which states “Michael Avenatti, the lawyer representing adult film star Stormy Daniels (real name Stephanie Clifford), claimed there were “extensive communications” between the attorneys arranging the infamous hush payment, showing it “had everything to do with the election.””

trump wanted to try out having Giuliani tell us that trump knew about the Cohen payment of $130,000 in hush money to Stormy Daniels. When trump found out that didn’t work out favorably for him, trump threw Giuliani under the bus.

The article “Avenatti alleges Michael Cohen recorded 'inappropriate' conversations” states “Michael Avenatti, the lawyer representing adult film actress Stormy Daniels, alleged in an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper on Wednesday that Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's longtime personal attorney, had recorded "inappropriate" conversations.

In the same interview, Avenatti also alleged Trump is among the people on the recordings…

Addressing the media, Avenatti then told reporters there had been "a shocking admission" in court, saying Cohen's lawyer "admitted that there are audio recordings that Michael Cohen was taking for years."”

Suppose trump gets deposed over this. With Cohen’s connection to trump Tower in Moscow it is easy to get to trump’s financial entanglement with the Russians.

trump is guilty of conspiring with foreign nationals to win the 2016 presidential election.

During a news conference trump said “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing, I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

Remember trump saying “I love WikiLeaks”? WikiLeaks is a Russian front organization. How much clearer can it be that trump is guilty of conspiring with foreign nationals to win the 2016 presidential election.

All of this evidence against trump will be useless if red staters and the GOP don’t act ethically. trump has pardons as a power he will abuse. trump is constantly brainwashing his low-information base, which Giuliani admitted was an effort to conquer impeachment.

We have an unethical president and GOP. God help us all.
