Eric and Kathy's Radiothon

Updated on September 6, 2013

Thank you for your continued support!

***THE 2013 RADIOTHON WILL TAKE PLACE ON SEPTEMBER 6!!***

Each year, Eric & Kathy bring you stories about the children, parents, doctors, nurses and staff of Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in hopes of raising much needed funds for this life-saving institution.

The Eric & Kathy Radiothon has raised over 22 million dollars for kids and families treated at Lurie Children's Hospital over the past thirteen years - money that stays right here in Chicago. The money raised during our Radiothon is directed to the areas of greatest need at Lurie Children's Hospital such as Patient and Family Services, Charity Care, Education and Advocacy.

After 130 years of treating critically ill children in its Lincoln Park hospital, Children's Memorial Hospital has built a new world-class facility, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. The 23-story, state-of-the-art hospital is located in downtown Chicago on the campus of our academic partner, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine offers the latest benefits and innovations in medical technology, research and family-friendly design. The hospital seeks the support of the entire community to complete and invest in Lurie Children's to help heal and save more children.

Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago, is recognized as one of the top pediatric hospitals in the country by rankings published in U.S. News & World Report. Its physicians are on faculty at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. The hospital is currently engaged in the Heroes for Life campaign to raise a minimum of $600 million to help create the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and support its medical and nursing professionals, programs and research.

2012 was a particularly exciting year as the hospital moved from the 130-year old Lincoln Park facility to the new location downtown, now called the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

As a not-for-profit organization, Children's Memorial relies on philanthropy to help provide care to 148,000 patients and their families every year.
