What do you think about this Bible Verses? Do you Follow it?
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Contains the characteristics of true love that leads to a happy and lasting relationship. Every woman would be happy if they are treated this way.
This is the most excellent way of loving someone and it applies to all who love. It defines what is true love. So when you found a person who loves like this, you are very lucky!
Below are the 10 on how to treat a woman you love.
1. Be Patient, Kind, and Humble
When you love, it is very important to treat her with kindness and utmost patience. So when your girlfriend or wife yells at you and punches you in the face, tell her I Love You, Kiss her, and Hug her. Just Joking! What I mean is you should treat her with patience and kindness in any situation especially if she is angry. It is because if she is angry and you get angry too, do you think you could talk seriously and calm? You won't solve your issues when you are clouded by anger, and if you don't think calmly, you might say mean things unintentionally and hurt her.
Be Humble. When you quarrel with her, it does not matter who is right or wrong. If you are wrong then apologize sincerely, if you are not on the wrong side, Be humble enough to compromise and settle or fix your quarrel. Because sometimes, pride can make your conflict grow because both sides are refusing to apologize.
Don't be Rude. In order to receive respect from your partner, you need to give respect. But first, you need to respect yourself. What I mean is you must be able to accept your flaws, uniqueness, weakness, and strength. Accept the Fact that you and your partner are not perfect. Just be yourself. Then accept your partner as a whole. Accept her good and bad traits. Respect your differences because both of you are unique.
3. Love is not Self-Seeking
Like what is told in the Bible, Love is not selfish. True love is unconditional. It is doing good things for the benefit of your partner even if you get nothing in return. Imagine if a couple loves each other unconditionally, isn't that wonderful and inspiring?
Because Love keeps no record of wrongs and it is not easily angered. No matter what our partner did we must be willing to forgive them and to accept them. Remember that God always forgives us even though we have countless sins. Even though we are sinners, he accepted us as his children.
5. It always protects, Always Trust, Always Hopes, and Always Persevere
When you love her, it is only natural to protect the woman you loved. But we must not forget to trust her and persevere to make your relationship better. True love gives us hope. Our partner can give us hope and comfort us when we need it. True love has all these wonderful traits so we should cherish it.
6. It Does Not Delight in Evil But Rejoices With the Truth
What love takes delight in Evil? Your love is not true if you wish harm or to hurt her. It always rejoices with the truth so honesty must be kept at all times.
7. The Second Greatest Commandment
And the second is like it: 'Love your Neighbor as Yourself.'— Matthew 22:39
Lord Jesus gave us a very wise advice there. Of course, no person would like to inflict harm on themselves. We are not supposed to punch ourselves and beat ourselves like crazy. We care for ourselves because we love ourselves so why not apply this loving of ourselves into loving others. Isn't it great if we can apply this commandment to loving the woman we love?
8. Act on It!
It is easy to say I Love You, but acting on it is not easy. when you love you must not be all talk and no action. Prove your love with action. You must make efforts to show your love through your actions. Isn't doing anything for your loved one sweeter than saying I Love You?
Dear children, Let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.— 1 John 3:18 NIV
9. No Fear
There is no fear in love. But Perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.— 1 John 4:18
When loving someone, we must not fear of anything, even her parents especially his father. Just joking! I mean sometimes we get hurt and we suffer because of love, but once we found the person worth suffering for, you must become brave. Don't be afraid even if the whole world falls on you. Love can give us a very powerful strength that can drive out fear. True love can drive out all the negative emotions. Not just fear, but also sadness and anger. It brings out hope and courage to everybody.
10. Be Faithful
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.— Proverbs 3:3
It is an undeniable fact that loyalty and faithfulness to your partner is a very important factor in a lasting relationship. With faithfulness, you build trust and respect.
Also, Lack of faithfulness can lead us to the sin of adultery and it can ruin any relationship. That is why being faithful is very important and God wants us to be faithful to our partners.
When you experience conflict, misunderstanding, and difficulties in your relationship, that's normal, because love is not all about happiness but happiness that comes along with self-sacrifice, forgiveness, and patience. What is important is that you will be together even if you face problems and difficulties because that is what true love is.
Yeah, we can suffer and get hurt while loving someone and it is inevitable, so we should find the woman worth suffering for, someone you can count on in good times and in bad times and will never leave you.
Love is a very wonderful gift from God and we should thank him for giving us the ability to love. So when God gives us the one for us it is a very wonderful blessing. That is why you should take care of the woman you love and make efforts to ensure their happiness.
