A Promise of a New Tomorrow

Updated on July 6, 2013

"Beginnings are usually scary and endings are usually sad, but it's everything in between that makes it all worth living."

Every story has an end, but in life every ending is just a new beginning.

The sun slowly kissed the sea
And the sky turns purplish gray
The nightingales sung their farewell melody
While the cold wind swept your voice away
As you say goodbye to me.

The night seems endless
The moon above smiles wearily
Floating silently on a pale dark sky
Someday, you’ll know
That it’s wrong to let me go.

As the morning sun peeped into my life
And shed its ray of love
Bright hues were painted on my lips
Full of deceitful lies
You came back.

I cannot say
That a dried and withered flower
Can bloom again in the heat of a scorching sun
I don’t know...
And I still don’t want to know.

Every story has an end, but in life every ending is just a new beginning.

Unknown spy...I loved the poem..however..I'm sorry but I feel once there is question/doubt regarding a relationship..doom is right around the corner...call me unromantic, but, I feel there are many other factors in relationships...trust/respect/kindness/honesty/unconditional thoughtfulness...etc.......thanks for sharing your thoughts/words...
