Love Poem

As I write these rhymes between the lines I can’t believe it’s about that time//

The woman I think about all the time in my mind and it’s that moment that I ask her “Will you forever be mines”?//

I’m nervous because she’s perfect and I’m not picture perfect//

Because my past is ugly but my past doesn’t create my purpose//

I don’t write poetry to make her wet or gain respect//

I write poetry to show her that I love her to death//

She’s the type of woman I’ll never forget//

If both her ears were blown off I’ll still love her to deaf//

If love make you do crazy things just call me insane//

Because I’ll have my heart surgically tattoo with her name//

If beauty is pain I’ll do it all over again//

Because my demonstration of love is more deeper than a name tattoo on the skin//

This beautiful woman stuck in my brain//

Soaked in her love like a man stuck in the rain//

My love not a game//

And I’ll shout, “I love you” and not be ashame//

You the woman I think about all the time in my mind//

And it’s that question I’m so afraid to ask…..Would you forever be mines?//
