Be a Part of The Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton With a Royal Wedding Memento

Updated on January 2, 2012

It won't be long until the big day of William and Kate is here. Friday 29 April 2011 they will tie the knot and become the most sought after Royal couple. in history. I just hope that Kate can withstand the media pressure and intrusion that comes with her role as Royal Consort,  We all know what happend to the late Princess Diana who was thrust from a life of anonymity to being the most photographed woman on the planet.

Whilst the preparations are under way many manufacturers are creating Royal Wedding Keepsakes to commenorate the wedding. I still have Princess Di and Prince Charles tea towels (which have not  been used) and a white and gold tea service I was given as a gift.

This will be a wonderful time of celebration and as we have been granted a day's holiday, I know there are going to be street parties, hordes of people heading towards central London to catch a glimpse of the happy couple, and royal wedding memorabilia being sold at every corner.

Well, we need something to cheer us up in this depressing economic climate and all we can pray for is that the weather (April is known for its rain showers) holds up and the day will be one of fun, laughter, joy and sunshine.

If you are unable to be in London on the 29 April 2011 to join in the festivities, you can still be a part of the royal wedding either by watching it on satellite television or by getting a keepsake from the many royal wedding mementoes that are available.

So What Royal Wedding Mementoes Will Be Available?

Sapphire & Diamond Engagement Ring

Perhaps the most wanted memento will be the sapphire and diamond replica of the ring that Prince William gave Kate on their engagement. This beautiful ring was first worn by the late Princess Diana on her engagement, and William gave his mother's ring to Kate as a gesture of and symbol of the love he has for the two most important women in his life.

This stunning fashion version of the famous royal engagement ring has the style and quality you expect from Steve Sasco Designs. Beautifully detailed in every aspect. This ring has a 18mm x 13mm oval glass sapphire stone, brilliant cut with Swarovski crystals surrounding it. You will feel like Royalty wearing this eye catching, head turning ring. All stones are set by hand. It is hand polished and platinum plated. An adjustable ring guard is hidden inside the band and will adjust to fit all finger sizes. 1-1/4" length x 1" height x 1" wide.

      Hi Minnetonka Twin

Thanks for commenting. To be honest I believe Kate won't be too worried about a pre-nup, because in the UK they are not legally valid, so she won't have to wave goodbye to the new found riches if anything went wrong for her and Wills! which I hope doesn't happen because they seem to be such a lovely couple.

I wonder how it felt for Kate to sign a pre-nup. I enjoyed your hub thoroughly and plan to watch the nuptuals on t.v. Thanks for the fun keep-sake ideas.
