Betrayal in Young Love

Updated on August 29, 2017

Chapter 1

Since childhood they both knew each other, like brother and sister.Jack was younger than Amara, but being the man he always felt a sense of responsibility towards her.A responsibility so intimidating that it later developed into a liking and wanting for her, and Amara also started to enjoy his company seeing his devotion to her she also fell for the young guy, afraid that he thought of her too much a sister than mate and the same thing trouble Jack they both hid their feeling for each other which matured before they could and finally when they couldn't hold themselves back.It was raining that day heavily and no one went out needlessly but they both were to meet in the park behind their street. One did not expect the other to come but they went anyway.naturally Amara reached their first and waited for any sign of J (what she used to call Jack). When she had given up after only five minutes, she turned back to take fer first step home and she heard him calling, all worn out and breathing heavy and without a moments delay they burst towards each other and their thoughts poured out faster than the crucial rain.

Chapter 2

Teenage was the age of fanatics and optimists and young lovers fantasizing a happy married life, not knowing the responsibilities and burdens and above all, the possibility of such a optimistic life or rather a lie.Never even considering any of these the two young love birds were chirping in their dream garden never knowing that betrayal was stalking them. The two would talk about things they didn't understand how they would get marries and the names of children they would never have until.

Final Chapter: Betrayal

It was another ordinary day Jack lay on a couch in the living room. His mothers friend (Ms. Andrew) came in all jolly and bursting with a certain emotion happiness and sorrow combined. She came running in and Jacks mother came to greet her but she ignored the formalities and got straight to the point. "She got engaged, she's engaged Amara just got engaged".It was all messy and hard to understand but Jack heard it loud and clear, and it was like he was hit by a truck, he jumped up and ran upstairs yelling "over my dead body" and ran to the window in his room and with a windy pace jumped out the window. After that he dreamt of heaven and the brightness that filled his eyes only realizing that he was in the hospital and he couldn't move a limb without shivering with pain, and that he thought to himself was it wasn't a long enough window and it hurt like betrayal.

This is why parents discourage teens from having "serious" relationships. They're too immature and unrealistic about life.

"Teenage was the age of fanatics and optimists and young lovers fantasizing a happy married life, not knowing the responsibilities and burdens..." That's not the REAL world! (They don't know it.)

When I was in Jr. high a 13 year old attempted suicide because her 14 year old boyfriend broke up with her to date the "new girl" at school.

No 13 year old should ever feel like life isn't worth living and no 14 year old should be responsible for the welfare of anyone else. I've often wondered if this girl now woman ever looks back after graduating from high school, going to college, getting married, and having her own 13 year old daughter.

There's so much she would have missed out on.

Teenagers lack the maturity to think beyond "right now".

When I was 14 I couldn't see myself walking around a college campus and that was just 4 years away!

Lastly rarely does anyone find their "soulmate" during childhood. Truth be told when it comes to love and relationships most of us (fail our way) to success.

Very few people hit a homerun their first, second, or third time up at bat. If this were not true we would all be married to our high school sweethearts!

Almost (everyone) has a "first love" they're no longer with. Dating during our youth should be about having fun and exploring as we learn about the world, ourselves, and what we want/need in a mate for life. Every ending is a new beginning!
