Our Divine Purpose
There is a purpose for everything under the sun~including you
A Greater Purpose
Does one ever wonder why we run into certain people at certain times in our life or find ourselves in situation's that cause us to react a certain way or something that causes us to wonder or question? Has one ever considered there may be a bigger picture? That there may be a greater purpose? A divine purpose to it all. Ecclesiastes 3:1 "To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven".
To grow there has to be a trial, an action or inaction, an experience, a conflict, a disturbance, a confusion, a question or wonder. Usually it will not be a comfortable one for one must be in discomfort to seek comfort. I believe God has a way of speaking to us, teaching us and awakening us to the things we need to grow to be in His likeness. I believe this is why we run into circumstances. We may not understand why God would do what He does and even question Him. Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding".
I believe God uses the ones who are closest to us to reach down and capture our hearts in order to open them up to greater things like forgiveness and love. I believe He causes us to stir and war inside ourselves until we see the light. If we don't correct our ways we will run into the same circumstance's/situations again and again until we do, until we attain that perfect balance that is within us. It may even seem like a merry-go-round or a rotating door at times, but it will repeat itself until the truth is fully known. God is testing and teaching us all.
God knows we have the ability for He created us in His image. He knows all and sees all and corrects all. When we need teaching, He teaches. If we fail the test, that particular test again will repeat itself till the truth be fully known. Schools in the world usually only give you two chances to pass a test, but God gives us countless opportunities, therefore God must have incredible patience! We are to be an example of God's love. If this verse doesn't show the miraculous patience God has and wants us to obtain then we are surly missing something. Luke 17:4 "If your brother sins against you seven times a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, 'I repent', you shall forgive him." This is incredible patience my friend!
There are many trials we will encounter in this life and we may even see them as being pretty ridiculous, and even overwelming at times, but maybe we need to take a closer look and do some evaluating and ask ourselves humbly if God is trying to tell us something. Could it be that we have reacted indifferently as to how God would have us be?. Could this be or has this been a stumbling block in our life? Is God trying to open our eyes and help us see the error of our ways? Maybe we should be seeking a new perspective.
Our stubborness, anger, resentment, hostility, revenge, hate and impatience toward our brother will cause us to stumble, stumble in the sence that we have tripped over the truth that God would have us see, the truth that God would have us know and understand and put into motion. His truth, not ours. God does not want us to live in division, but in unity.
We have lived with our truths which are corruptive and have fallen short of the glory of God. Our truths are not God's truth, our ways are not God's way and our life is important to Him and He wants it to be equally important to us. Peace will not come to us, we must come to peace. Submit to the will of God. We must also come to love as God loves. Put off our old nature and become new. A transformed heart and mind, 2 Corinthians 3: 18 "But we all. with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the spirit of the Lord.
God wants us to be full of knowledge so we have the fullness of God. In Ephesians 3:19 " to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" and Chapter 4:2 "with all lowliness and gentleness. with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love" and verse 13 "till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ".
We may never come to know the fullness of Christ because we are born of the flesh, but God is at work every second of everyday, teaching each and everyone of us the wisdom we need to overcome it, completing His divine purpose for us all, for He loves us that much! Isaiah 42:16 "I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them. Hear, you deaf; And look, you blind, that you may see.". This is God's promise.
