Dating in your 20's VS Dating in your 30's

Updated on August 24, 2009

Dating in your 20's VS Dating in your 30's

Dating in your 20’s and 30’s.  What a big difference!

In your 20’s you meet Tom and wonder if he’s cute and fun.

In your 30’s you meet Tom and you wonder how much baggage comes with him.

In your 20’s it’s all about having fun.

In your 30’s it’s all about making sure he’s more than just fun.

In your 20’s, he’s broke but you love your man regardless.

In your 30’s, he’s broke and you find nice ways to never speak again.

In your 20’s you are open to anyone.

In your 30’s you pre-screen everyone.

In your 20’s you exchange phone numbers easily.

In your 30’s you try and collect business cards (employment confirmation).

In your 20s you could care less about credit.

In your 30’s you have a credit score minimum like the bank.

In your 20’s you can date, party, and drink all night long….again and again.

In your 30’s you can date, party, and drink all night long, but you need recovery time.

In your 20’s an apartment on your own is cool.

In your 30’s you wonder why he doesn’t have a home.

In your 20’s if he’s late you don’t mind.

In your 30’s if he’s late you take it as blatant disrespect.

In your 20’s meeting at a club for your first date is cool.

In your 30’s meeting at a club for your first date means he’s not interested in getting to know you.
