Define love

Updated on November 25, 2010

LOVE

Perhaps what can't be seen w/ the naked eye, either miniscule, and in our hands or immense yet too far away for closer scrutiny, here might the eternal resting place for our spirits, and the love they hold.
Love in itself is an entity of unknown character. Just like something examined under a microscope, we may not know what we are looking at. likewise when we gaze into the heavens, what we are looking at is beyond our tagible grasp, and possibly comprehension.
Once we experience, and understand the singularness that only comes from agape love, we render ourselves capable, and open to all possiblities connected to love. It is love, that is a many splendored thing.

THE FOUR ACES
"Love Is A Many Splendored Thing"
(Words by Paul Frances Webster and Music by Sammy Fain)
Love is a many splendored thing
It's the April rose
...That only grows in the early spring
Love is nature's way of giving
A reason to be living
The golden crown that makes a man a king

Once on a high and windy hill
In the morning mist
Two lovers kissed
And the world stood still
Then your fingers touched
My silent heart and taught it how to sing
Yes, true love's
A many splendored thing

Once on a high and windy hill
In the morning mist
Two lovers kissed
And the world stood still
Then your fingers touched
My silent heart and taught it how to sing
Yes, true love's
A many splendored thing

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV)4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

There is no disguising that truth lcg. I suppose some are apprehensive to commit to such a relationship because of prior hurts, I hope they don't give up on themselves though. He will still be waiting with open arms.

Thank you for stopping by, and for your insight ?

Unconditional love from the Father above is the greatest gift mankind can ever accept. Thank you for this hub. God's love is the standard by which believers must live; love for God and love for one's neighbor. Selfless love, giving and desiring the best for the other. Praise God for showing us His love and filling us with His love through the Spirit.

      God bless you

That's a big yes for sure Fred. Love is everything worth living for, and I'm glad to share our Lord's gospel about it with others.

      Thanks for stopping by.
