NPD- Online Boyfriend Minces Cyber Girlfriend's Heart

Updated on July 22, 2017

Be wary of the seasoned Lulz. He will be your best friend and confidant, then use it all against you, so as to laugh with his circus clowns.

A "Catfish" is someone who pretends to be someone they are not, using Facebook or other social media, to create false romantic identities, to deceive their victims for financial, emotional, physical abuse (later on down the line), or simply for the sake of the sadistic gratification of traumatizing another human being.

A Lulz is the slang term used to describe the laughter rendered at someone who has been purposely victimized, gamed, or pranked, online. The way one would use this term would be to say, "He played with her emotions, online, just for the lulz of it". Many times, others are secretly involved behind the scenes, as well, joining in with the offender's howls of laughter.

Online boyfriend;

digital prince!

For the sheer,

glitzy lulz of it,

her heart,

he did mince.

Cyber girlfriend;

his virtual fool!

Over her

unsuspecting eyes,

he did

"pull the wool".

Online soulmate;

digital man!

Her life,

he colored,

with his

erasable crayon.

Cyber lover;

his virtual woman!

He darkened her sunshine,

as his devotion emitted,

not one single,

Though it is painful to be deceived and pranked so viciously, be proud that it is not, you, who is the deceiver, and prankster.

      Thank you, Jodah! Unfortunately, I learned about "Catfishing" through the experience of being "cat-fished", but at least I can now share these experiences, and help others to not get baited, and ensnared. It is an insidious lure, and hook.

      Thank you, Luke! No, I have never heard of the term Catfish. But, I will look it up, and might put a link on this post about it. I will check it out right away. Thank you for your very kind, and thoughtful, advice.

      Tamara, I'm sorry for your poor experience, as expressed here. Be careful who you confide in online. Anyone could be anyone. Have you ever heard of the term catfish? If not, check it out. I think it would be a nice addition to this hub. Hang in there. Keep your wits about you and your heart on a short leash (until it's time to let it fly). Take care. Keep up the good work!
