Everybody Looks Good

Updated on December 1, 2015

I'm Your Biggest Fan

I remember all my crushes all through school. I was “boy crazy”. I didn’t go for the captain of the football team. I went for the loner, the saxophone player in the jazz band, the lead actor in the school play, the rebel.

I had was the number one fan of the New Kids On The Block. I had the biggest crush on Jordan Knight.

I'll Be Loving You Forever - NKOTB ( I can't tell you how often I watched this video and swooned over Jordan Knight...

What Are You Really Into?

I loved the guy’s clothes and his hat. I also liked that he was thin, but that was about it. I thought he was attractive, hot, of course. I don’t share the same feelings now though.

My friends used to joke with me by asking me who I like this week. There were many. They were mostly singers. American singers. Liking a guy from a foreign country like England was very unlikely for me because I believed the stereotype of the guys being gay.

I remember how on T.V. Show or a film where a girl is not even interested in a guy until he changes his look, cleans up, basically not until he gets a makeover.

It's The Little Things That Really Matter

The way he smiles, the way his eyes light up when he smiles, his hair, his eyes, the way he bites his lower lip pensively. There’s so much more. But there is only one person that truly makes your heart race. It doesn’t even matter how many times he has messed up, done something that really hurt you, words he said. It’s not strength, it’s knowing the truth in your heart no matter how silly it may look to someone else. Only you will understand the real you and why you find every little thing about that one person perfectly beautiful.
