Finally I Feel A Great Peace About Being Single
It's a wonderful thing to be comfortable in your own skin, to be confident of who you are, and to be satisfied with life. All those things take time to achieve, but as a single Christian woman, they have come to happen with me. I am comfortable, I am more confident these days- but not to the point of being overly proud ( I believe in humility)- and I am SATISFIED! I am turning down dates with men, because I know that sex is not all that important. If I am to be with a man, I would like a kindred soul to share my life with, a companion.
Yes companion is the key word. I'm not against sex and having a child even, but it's the VALUE you place on yourself and you know there's more to a relationship than just sex and that's a beautiful thing!
Once you get to this point, great things can happen for you. You see, you have to become beautiful on the inside first before things you may want can actually happen. In other words, in order to make things happen, you first have to become the person you want to be.
Some things you can do to become more happy with yourself
Take the pressure of and just be you. Do things with friends that you enjoy like going out and having fun, doing sports or hobbies, dining out and socializing, and maybe even karaoke!
Figure out who you are. What do you like to do? Who are you? Who do you want to be?
I think the healthier mental attitude you have towards life, the better and healthier your relationships/friendships become, and then you end up having more fun and happiness in your life. When you have more happiness on a consistent basis, this will and does affect you overall in a wonderful way!
Personally
This is my hub, so I can say what I want, but personally I have a close relationship with my Creator so I enjoy Him on a daily basis and I feel a peace that well maybe I have never felt as much before. I know He has desire to prosper me and not harm me, and it's just wonderful to have someone I can count on daily- I'm never alone :)
Socially
I have been thinking of taking on some new pen pals. I enjoy writing. I have more friends in life than I ever have had before in my life! I keep meeting new people! It great. I don't need tons of people in my life at every moment because I am an introvert but it's nice to have lots of friends. I enjoy them all. I plan to do some meetup.com events. Those can be really fun. I've tried them in the past.
