‘Friends’ - An Important Pillar of Life
It is very true that friends are one of the important pillars of life apart from parents and teachers. They can become our philosopher and guide when we are in trouble or face such a situation where we don’t have any idea what to do next. Keeps attached atleast one friend in your life with whom you can share every secret of your life including your success and failure, your affair and many more.
Today is the first Sunday of month of August - 2nd August 2015 - and all over the worlds, this day is being celebrated as Friendship Day. (The idea of a World Friendship Day was first proposed on 20 July 1958 by Dr. Ramon Artemio Bracho during a dinner with friends in Puerto Pinasco, a town on the River Paraguay) The purpose of International Friendship Day is to promote friendship and fellowship among all human beings regardless of race, color or religion. Folks today exchange gifts, friendship belts, flowers, chocolates, messages and much more to enjoy every moment of the day.
Ideally one needs couple of friends in life rather than a crowd, who helps you actually you need them, and that’s why it is rightly said – “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” Today in the technology driven word people are attached towards gadgets and spent more time over internet, which allow us minimum time to have real fun with friends. There is a saying – at the end of the day (whether you’re a student or businessmen) if 3 or 4 friends are not waiting for you than you’re a miserable person in life.
Don’t allow such a situation in your life. Have friends in life and enjoy each day of life.
“Happy Friendship Day to ALL”
