Updated on September 21, 2010

Geek Girls are the new "in thing" no longer will you be laughed at for standing around talking about the next Algebra test or Science lesson, has came to our attention that Guys love Geek Girls. And whether it be computers, science or Anime that you hold superior knowledge in, the Girls are fighting back,

I am a computer Geek, proud of it, but I will not swap my lipgloss or high heels for no-one, and when I wear my glassess it just adds to the effect.

At school I remember having braces and glassess not a great look then, actually taking a pair of plyers to my wired mouth to try to remove them.

Over the years woman have fought at every turn, fought for their right to vote, to work, for equal pay, burned their bras for the sake of giving woman a fighting chance.

Everybody talks about Bill Gates revolutionising the commputing world, but I tell you if it was not for a woman called Ada Lovelace whose publishings were to become the first known computer programmes.

Lisa Simpson is okay a Cartoon Character, but still emulates female Cool Geek status.

So remember the next time someone calls you a geek, it is the biggest compliment to get! you think of all the cool woman in history, there are just as many men as there are woman,

Geek girls, unite! ...though I too never thought of myself as a geek, plenty of people who know nothing about computers probably think I am one...
