Having a friend who is competitive

Updated on April 16, 2012

In life it is important to have girlfriends. We could shop with them and they could even be our support system. However if you always have a friend who is trying to make themselves look better than you that is not a friend.

There are some girls who are so stuck up that they don't treat there friends good. If you mention somethin good happens to you, they act like it's no big deal.

Another thing is they always put themselves in your stories. For instance if you say that you can't walk in high heels they say that they have no problem. Another example is if you say you are on a dating site they say they are too and guys are always asking them out. They are trying to steal your thunder.

If you have a friend like that talk to them and if they get upset they are not worth it. A friend is supposed to be happy for all of your accomplishments. If a friendship turns into a competition it is not a friendship at all.

I agree with Rosalinem, let it go when instead of helping you up, they would only push you down. They are not friends. I have friends that fits your sentence here: If you mention somethin good happens to you, they act like it's no big deal.. and they change the topic, when you only want is to let them know and share what you achieved.

Very True, if the friendship is not helping you be a better person then its time to walk away. Voted up
