How to Get Past that Awkward First Kiss

First impressions counts when it comes to kissing. Learning how to kiss can be fun and exciting.

The first thing you need to do is get the courage to actually get that first kiss. It also helps to be dating the person you plan on kissing.

Kissing someone can be scary but exciting. Kissing can be very enjoyable if done properly.

A bad kiss on the other hand will not lead up to another kiss. Obviously, you want to be a good kisser.

What Makes a Good Kisser

A good kisser has clean fresh breath. Before you go out on your date make sure you have brushed your teeth and washed out your mouth with mouthwash.

How do you know if someone is as ready as you are for that first kiss? There is several ways to tell when the other person is ready for that first kiss.

Ask yourself are you both enjoying each other’s company? Are you both having a good time with lots of good conversation? Does your date seem comfortable with you?

If your date seem distant don't even think about that first kiss.

If your date is sitting close to you or flirty this is a good sign they are ready for that first kiss.

Start out with a friendly playful little kiss on the lips. A friendly little kiss let them know you are interested. Wait to get a response. If your date kisses you back this is a really good sign they are ready for a real kiss. If your date does not kiss you back. Its safe to say they are not interested or its to soon.

If your date kisses you back lightly and gently kiss them back. Get ready for a more passionate kiss.

Passionate kissing is what they call a French kissing.

Too french kiss slightly open your mouth while pressing their lips. Let them do the leading. Do not shove your tongue down your dates throat.

Do not get carried away on the first kiss. Do not give your date anymore tongue then what they are giving you.

Keep the first kiss short and sweet. Allow that person to breathe and decide if they want another kiss.

Only kiss your date if they want to be kissed. If they seem to be backing away, you back off.

Do not give someone a wet sloppy kiss that is a turn off.
