How to have Amazing Sex: The One Tip Most Forget

Updated on September 10, 2014

So What Exactly IS Missing?

Let's be honest, sex can either go one of two ways. It can either blow your mind or leave you regretting you ever went through with the erotic act to begin with. Well, the plane and simple truth lies in the intent behind the sex. Are you being completely lustful or are you truly making love?

The problem most people face during intercourse is not due to performance or a lack of technique. It stems from their reasons for going to bed with someone. Neither men nor women are pieces of meat, so selfishly using said persons for some one night fling will only leave you unsatisfied. These momentary pleasures will never compare to the passion exchanged between man and wife.

The Purpose of Sex

Although sex can be quite enjoyable, it was not merely put into existence for having some fun with the opposite gender. The main function of sex is, and will always be, for showing how much one cares for their partner. God created sex as a form of intimacy to be shared between a married couple and is meant to be beautiful. The world today unfortunately has turned sex into a pass time, an animalistic urge that must be satisfied no matter what the cost. Sure, it feels good, but why settle for average when you can have the best? Aside from procreating, these acts are meant to contribute to a husband and wife becoming one flesh.

1 Corinthians 7:1-40

"Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: 'It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.' But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control."

Genesis 2:24

"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh."

A Second Opinion

I know how hard it can be to take one person's word for something. That is why I have included a video on the marital sex subject. The video to the right goes further into detail about the world's sad view of sex and why it is ideal to wait for that kind of loving until the proper time. Honoring God is more important than the lust in one's heart. Stay pure and sin no more, for the Lord your God only wants what is best for you.

Your Turn

Do you think waiting to have sex with the one that you love is possible if you and that person shared the same bed?
