The Power of Seduction.

If you are planning the perfect Valentine’s Day surprise, or just planning anything romantic, then perhaps you should seriously consider using the seductive power of poetry to convey the way you feel, in a way that speaks to that person like nobody else could.

Really great romantic poetry can set a special mood with words that create a sensually visual mental picture when read aloud. Historically poetry has been written to express feelings and to convey the emotional perspective to the reader. Modern poetry is no different in that regard, but does tend to approach the subject of love far more openly than the poetry of past poets who, though writing to push the boundaries of the day, were in many respects, considerably more conservative by modern standards.

There are many great modern poets to be found on the net and when it comes to poets who have truly mastered the art of poetic seduction; then you must also check out the works of Pablo Neruda, who specialized in poetry for the heart.

The poem below is called:‘If She Was Mine’ a love poem written by the New Zealand poet Pearldiver. 'If She Was Mine' is described as a perfect, seductive poem of hope for all seasons and valentine wannabe lovers. It is intentionally written to be vastly different than the style of grand masters like Neruda, yet still openly illustrates how to speak seductively and passionately in verse, to that special someone. This poem and the two examples of expression below, should help you to create your perfect, message. So have the confidence to write from the heart in your own unique way and in that way which best illustrates how much you care for that special person.

Besides, if you get your words and timing right, you can use the combined power of your heart and your own sensual words as your competitive advantage; to blitz any pesky competitors! That's right, with a few well chosen, genuine words you become very unique, showing that you are special in a winning way. Hey, all’s fair in love and war. Enjoy.

If She Was Mine. (A love poem by Pearldiver).

♥ ♥ ♥

If she was a song

She would be that ever present melody

That comes to you unexpectedly in surging waves

Of notes that pick up and carry worried minds away

Gracefully to far off places beyond stressful days

If she were an expression

She would appear within the veneer of confident smiles

She would be that sound silently heard from deep within

An explosive gentle moment of greatest shared pleasure

Wow, defies the chorus of sighs drawn as she enters any room

In magical style, no singular expression can honor such perfection

If she was a bird

She would soar effortlessly above us on love’s thermals

She would be the beauty of a shimmering humming bird

With its delicate, tiny hover and sweet nectar desires

She would be the patience and stealth of white herons

The purpose and flight of the falcon’s return to my arms

And as if a lark, in sparkles, she would herald the light of our love

If she was mine

I would know that dreams do come true

And with her, know my love can last, beyond all time

If she was mine, if she was, my Valentine

♥ ♥ ♥

And Guys- Say how you feel.

Many guys think it is really not very cool to speak from the heart. How sad for them then that other guys can and that most women find any guy who is genuinely able to speak from the heart, to be very attractive. Many guys are also too shy, or embarrassed to say how they really feel. Don't be; once again, most women find it to be a very positive attribute.

Valentine's Day gives everyone an excuse to declare their feelings and their love, without any need to feel foolish. Once again, giving on Valentine's Day is seen as a very positive attribute. So to is saying it in poetry! Good Luck.

There are many ways to say how you feel directly.
