In MY Emptiness Unearthed.

In My Emptiness Unearthed.

Oh, the agony that is found,
in the distance of the space between us,
angst that mars the love we once knew,
mercury rising whenever we draw near,
A heat that used to be passion's flame,
now a meteorite splitting our hearts.
I am alienated from your heavenly body,
marooned in a desolate place,
sensing the gravity of the situation>

I genuflect without a prayer,
in the time capsule that once held you,
my soul orbiting a black hole,
wingless, hands clawing emptiness
as I am swept away.

There are no tears left in this place,
no sound,  it is a vacuum
my cries go unheeded,
lost in the no longer
where you are at-mosphere
I am a monument
to what lies beyond,
the void of love.

Would this be a longing for the woman in your other planetary poem?
