In Remembrance Of Grandpa Fred

Updated on December 28, 2012

A wonderful man such as he

was taken to our Lord to be

though on earth no longer

he is gone on yander

to a place that he has forever longed to be.

A place of exceptional beauty and grace

he looks on the face of God

and is welcomed into His loving arms.

Fret not, he says. I'm finally at rest. It is my time to be home.

Shed no tears; remember me with love and joy.

Cry and lash anger no longer;

be of peace.

I'm here singing with the angels.

Have peace, for I've walked through the streets of gold, in through the pearly gates called home.

All arms around me of purest welcome.

Grace is all around this undescribable beauty.

I'm suffering no more

when laying my broken body to rest, remember this:

here I am, not for the body was a shell, free flying above in a place brighter than the sun.

I put my arms around each and all

I give you comfort

trying to share the love from above

For us all life on earth is only temporary

Eternity is forever; and I'm where I longed to be,

with the Lord our God.

So take care of each and all

Remember my works and my teaching, carrying it to all.

For my life was not in vain, nor was it lost.

It's going to be forever!

Fred, I'll miss you.

Shelly
