Jealousy Unto Death.

Updated on December 11, 2011

A Short Story

Jessica had a wonderful life she had loving parents a great home. Just to add brothers and sisters that loved her as well.

But one day as she went about her busy day. Jessica thought she would stop by the coffee shop just for a hot cup of mocha on a cold brisk morning. The coffee shop was warm and cozy not to mention the great aroma through the small building.

As she made her way to the counter; He turned and faced her with a glance he almost lost his cup of Jo.

Yes it started with a glance. Soon after a nice hello. My name is Adam may I get your coffee just to cover how he felt clumsy at the site of her face.Jessica smiled and said sure . She wanted to sat inside for a little while and warm up.

The meetings got very frequent. He brought her flowers at every occasion. The eye contacts became short hand touches. They began to share one another thoughts. They where now dating falling in love. As the months grew old and they grew closer they decided they would exchange vows in marriage. To love one another forever.

But Adam never told Jessica that he had a secret. And that this secret would love her to death. He only seen himself as loving her forever. And Jessica thought his love was great.

Jessica's days at work became short to the ever answering of his calls all day. Because he said he love her to death.Jessica never notice the change that was transpiring in Adam. His secret was unfolding around her and she thought it was just his ever dying love for her.Repeatedly with flowers on her desk and at home.

Adam stated that she was returning home to late and what took so long and why haven't you answered my calls.Who are you seeing? You are cheating on me! Adam yelled out as he step into her space.

Jealousy uncovered itself this day in their happy life.Adam could not hide this demon called jealousy any more. And as jealousy pranced around their happy little home.Jessica became uncomfortable an unsure about what she thought was love. Her life that she remembered started to unravel, you see Jessica had completely forgot who she had been as a individual she had totally rested in his love.

Now Jessica had to rethink all that she thought about it all. But being that her space was so limited even the air she breath was tight.

One day in the heated conversation that Adam started after she returned home from work and a stop by the same coffee shop that they meet in. Adam ask "who did you meet at our coffee shop today ?"

Jessica had heard this so very often that this day she was tired of Jealousy rising up at her every day.Jessica Yelled out without notion" I'm leaving and I want a divorce"

But what Jessica fell to realize is that Jealousy is as cruel as the grave.Jessica had dealt with jealousy in the way of school kids. But never seen it unfold as It would here in her adult life. She always thought it would come from a stranger and not her husband. She loved him so very much.

Adam had slowly let his secret out through the years he was housing something that would put her to death. He could not let her go because he loved her to death.Jealousy had plotted a plot of deceit and misery in Adam's mind. Adam wanted someone to share his misery with him. He dare not to be alone with Jealousy. Because jealousy told him he was unworthy of love and that he had finely found someone that cared about him.So he can't let her go.Adam would be consider as a loser again in life.

You see this is a love story of selfish love. Jessica never left that house again to go to work are to the coffee shop they had claim as their own. Never to smell the flowers that Jealousy gave her.

Jessica's family will never see her again because of jealousy. Jessica would have flowers again but by the loving hands of her parents, family and friends.Jealousy the great monster that it is Hides so very well deep within the mind, and has taken so many love ones.

From the author:

I know this is a sad story but it came from my heart and I had to share it.This is happening every day in our lives on headlines in the news.It covers our country and world. And to the families that have lost someone due to Jealousy.I send my condolences to you and my prayers. And to those who have lost their lives; May You Be Carried.....God Bless!

This was nice and for real there are many men like that walking around today. They are ready to kill and accuse at the slightest thing. It's a pity though.

Got to be very careful and say what you'd never know we all hide some of our bad ways, but eventually it comes out :(

Such a strong negative emotion. My heart goes out to those who were killed, by their partners in a fit of Jealousy.

Jelousy is a bitter monster that destroys from the inside out. It has no recognition of age, race, creed, gender, ethnicity, background nor nationality.

This is sad, but yes it does happen everyday. When someone tells me they are going to love me to death I get packing.

I hope many will learn a lesson from your Hub. Thanks.

Jealousy is such an ugly emotion and unless you have a control of your emotions, it can destroy you. Jealousy is another example of low self-esteem. If we learn to love ourselves, we may have a better handle of dealing with some of our less appealing attributes. Nice hub!

A sad but true story. We need to educate our young ones about this, and make our sons understand that love has nothing to do with control and jealousy. They learn it from someone else!

Hey this is sad but very nicely written story and i have seen a girl who kicked such a handsome and sincere guy because she was jealous of other girls trying to get him.. Unfounded jealousy would lead to destruction of relationships.
