Life Is Just A Hurry, No Time For Friends Or Self

Updated on October 18, 2011

Life Is Just A Hurry No Time For Friends Or Self

There's never time to stop and talk,

Seems like we are always on the run,

If we are nearing the end of our life,

Or yet, even though it has just begun.

Seems there is no time to stop and relax,

Or to ever stop and chat for a little while.

We see all of our friends hustling on by

And we give each other a quick smile.

I am sure that God doesn't like this way

For this hurrying never seems to end.

I am sure He would have us take the time

To stop and visit with a very dear friend.

All of our worldly work will be down here

For others when we have passed away.

What will it matter all this rushing around

When we know we come to our dying day?

Life would be easier and more pleasant

If we would live for God and do our part.

Try to help a friend in their passing by,

Give each one a little piece of your heart,

God will be with you and replenish daily.

All of the love that you gladly give away.

Our God is Love , you can never out give

His Precious Gift! His Love is here to stay ! !

I am sure the Lord does not want us to

always be rushing as we do today. When

Jesus was here on earth he visited with

friends and enjoyed himself but we

never seem to have time to visit

with some of them, We know they

would get a great pleasure out of

having company of someone that

they love.Take the time today to see

someone you love or to call if you can't

visit. It will do all of you good. You may

not have another chance.Life is short !

It's true we are always in go go go mode and never stop to smell the daisies. I'm really bad about not picking up that phone and connecting with a loved one.

Yes, busy, busy and rushy, rushy! I always try to take the time to tell my Family and Friends when I see them or talk with them by telephone that I love them. I think this is the one I commented on and the channel malfunctioned so I came back to try again. One never knows when it is the last GOODBYE or the last I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU MY FRIEND, Tessie
