MY THOUGHTS ON "APPEARANCES"
Black women with light skin and cat like eyes are deemed beautiful and most are. It's not about what is on the outside; but the inside of a person which places the value of their worth. With this being said, many of these so called beauties are ugly simply because of their attitudes. Men, don't mind because they are attracted to looks rather than personality when searching for an trophy. It is after a length of time they become tired of the nasty attitudes. In my observation when looking at these women on the outside, I noticed that many were not beautiful they just possess a bright skin color and nice eyes. Then I looked at my chocolate sisters. In comparison the chocolate sisters have more substance while being beautiful. Men miss this because they are too worred about what their friends will say. This is when the white woman steps in. Nowadays even the light skinned black women are no longer dominating the "pull" of the brothers. Why go second best when they can have the original. Again chocolate sisters suffer; not because they are not worthy. OF COURSE THEY ARE! We all are; but some men are shallow individuals and place way to high of a value of their own worth. The ones suffering from this affliction are too small minded to realize the treasure they have in all of us black women. I feel all women regardless of color deserves to be truly loved and valued as an asset and not a deficit. It is only when we all know our own worth, we diminish the power of the afflicted brothers. Gone will be days of them "Misusing and Using," Playboy Mentalities, Over-blown Egos and Cruelty to women in general. Women are too powerful for that. Our resources are beyond measure. In order to be great men, you must have great women. It does not matter about appearance. There is no such thing as "Ugly" or "Worthless." Every man, woman or child regardless of race possess beauty and possess worth. If you only judge a book by it's beautiful cover without knowing the content then this makes you shallow. Being human we possess the desire to be better than others. If we just observe and come to the realization that we are all the same to some degree we as people would be much better off. I have had what most call ugly men; I do not judge by looks rather I look for kindness. To me "Kindness" is the most beautiful characteristic a person can possess. Beauty is only skin deep. Appreciation for being and not appearances will enlighten the minds and hearts of all who learn to see beyond the sparkle of an diamond and instead see the diamond in the rough. Imagine the sparkle potential of this undiscovered exceptional characteristic that is hidden rather than exposed and flawed.
