Make Your Marriage A Great One! By Debbie Lacy
It's important to make time for each other. Take some time to examine your relationship and be certain that there are times daily when you and your partner make a connection. Be creative and look over your schedule and find ways to connect with one another. Whether it be a quick phone call, a short email, an early morning walk, lunch or dinner together, an evening stroll through the park or simply catch a good movie at the theater. There is nothing greater than time spent together!
Respect and honor one another. Relationships thrive when there is mutual honor, reverence, respect, and admiration for one another. Be considerate of each other's needs and feelings and do all you can to honor and cherish each other!
Give each other praises and support. Make your spouse feel appreciated, loved and needed. A little praise goes a long way. Compliments are a power source for pleasure, joy and when expressed around others heightens that sense of joy. So don't be afraid to compliment your spouse in the presence of others as well as in private.
Most importantly, cherish those quiet tender moments spent together because those special moments will last a life time.
