Marrying a soldier
For a few years, I was looking for the right one to enter my life and I knew that it wouldn't be easy. I did go out with other men but I just didn't feel it with them, so they went their own ways. Sometimes finding the right guy, that completes you isn't always easy. I know that I waited for a long time, when most of my friends already had gotten married and had children of their own. But sometimes that one right guy comes when you least expect it.
That is what happened to me. After being single for a few years and not having any boyfriend in my life, I learned to really love myself and get to know myself better because if one doesn't know how to appreciate themselves, how can they expect others to appreciate or love them for who they are or may be.
They say the right man comes when you least expect it and that is what happened to me. The first time I met my husband to be, it was through a friend. I decided to go meet him and see if I was able to feel something and sure enough as we continued seeing each other. It is safe to say, that after a few years of not having someone in my life, I have found the one person who really makes me happy.
With him being a soldier and serving in the army, it really does change my life though. My father used to serve in the military so one can say that I had some military life experience, but being a little girl at that time you don't remember much. I know that I will be moving a lot and there will be times I will be by myself, however, I will try my best to be ready and be the best wife that I can be. There may be some hard times especially when he is out in the field or even deployed at one point, but with the love that we have for each other we can make things work. Many offer advice on how to marry a soldier and I am very thankful for that because I know that I will try my best to make him happy.
