Men and what makes the earth move under my feet
I love men!

When I was 5 or 6 I got my first stereo complete with 45's. (For you younger folks, it was a type of vinyl disc, placed on a machine called a "record player". It spun around and produced music, when a needle was applied to it).
A large portion of my newly acquired record collection, was Elvis. I was immediately and permanently in love. Elvis has as much of "IT", as is humanly possible!
This, no doubt, set the stage, for the physical "IT" standards of most of my sequential loves.
Black hair, Darling little boy smile, a deep sexy voice.... Even more than the blatant sex appeal, it was the passion emanating from his every pore!
THAT, to me, is what "IT" is all about! Oh baby!
My tastes did branch out and diversify over the years, but the foundation was definitely set.
I love men, all men. Short men, tall men, skinny men, fat men, homely men, Greek Gods, and every kind in between. Dark, hair, dark skin OOO LA LA! Blonds, red heads and brown haired, Yummy! Grey, salt and pepper, partially bald and bald, love them! I like to look at them. I like to work with them. I like to hang out with them. I like to talk to them.
All men have an IT factor for me, but to make the music play, lightning flash and the ground shake , it really only takes a few things.
A smart, open minded, deep thinker, a great sense of humor, and a compassionate nature. ~~~Squirm, giggle, giggle~~~! Heh Heh Heh OH Yea, that's "IT" all right!
Is it getting hot in here?
In Grade school there was Joe Sanderson (the names have been changed to protect the guilty, ok and the innocent) he was a skinny, gangly, awkward boy. He was the class clown and hysterically funny. I loved him.
Of course there was also Chris Garcia, a short VERY good looking mexican with a cool detached nature. The dark hair, the intense, almost black eyes, that rich coffee colored skin..... I can still see him when I close my eyes.
He was my first encounter with the "Bad Boy" bug. I quickly found out, that the intoxicating effect from it's bite would remain with me forever more. Damn, the side effects from that boy caused me a lot of grief later in life.
I still haven't found a cure for it , but I manage the symptoms with exposure therapy and counseling.
Chris had a cousin Sam, he was a gentle giant, quite, sensitive, kind hearted. In the winter we would go sledding. At the top of the hill we would jump on our saucers and fly to the bottom. Then my sister and I would sit on them while Sam, with the strength of a horse, would take one rope in each hand an pull us back up to the top. I fell in love with him for those things. What a man!
When I got to J.H. All boys had "IT", but particularly the ones that paid attention to me. I don't remember a specific one I knew personally, but Michael J Fox had hit TV and I must agree, he has "IT".
A partial list of the celeberties would contain,Ricardo Montalban . Too sexy in "Fantasy Island", but make me break out in a sweat, in "The Wrath of Con". (I take note of the fact he is sexier as a bad boy than nice guy)
It is definitely getting hot in here now. Excuse me while I turn the heater down.
Then came Ken. Eight years my senior, blond hair, wide shoulders, small waist. He closely resembled Atlas. He was charming, deliciously sexy, dangerous, and had way more than his share of animal magnetism. OMG I can't breath!
I married him and had his baby. I was so flattered this man was interested in me. I assumed for years I had attracted him due to my great maturity (back then I knew everything there was to know). I am aware now of course, that I was not mature, he was immuature! Well so much for knowing it all.
From 13ish on there was always Rico. He flipped my switch then, 10 years later, 20 years later, and when I ran back into him a week or two ago! Every time I see (or even think) about him my mouth goes dry, my palms get sweaty, I get weak in the knees and I sqirm and giggle. HHHHMMM sounds suspiciously like "IT". Tall, dark hair and skin, sexy, smart, funny,
Hang on. Be right back. I need to open a window!
Then Peter glided in (and right back out) of my life. But not before leaving me pregnant with his daughter. Well worth it all, though. He was 6'4, black curly hair, (imagine that!) and had eyes so blue they could be rivaled only by, the "call me Trinity" guy. Brighter blue than the sky, from the top of a mountain peak, on a clear day.
HUGE hands, so big and masculine. A cool, indifferent, bad boy. RED HOT sexy. And not only all that but, he produced the most beautiful, coolest woman on the planet (our daughter).
Then there Was Bobby. We ran in the same crowd for 30 years. Attended all the same parties, all the same camping trips, all the same get to gethers It wasn't till we'd known each other for over a decade that our relationship went from friends to more. He was, and always will be, one of the greatest loves of my life.
We discovered after another decade or so that you can love someone intensely and not be able to live with them. None the less, there is a place in my heart that is his, and his alone. Reserved for eternity and treated with great reverence. He will always be one of my best memories and most cherished friends.
He has (you guessed it) black, luscious, thick, curly hair, dark skin, brown eyes. He is SUPER smart, I'm pretty sure he actually knows everything there is to know. Not sarcastic, just a stated fact. He is a human whisperer (as well as horse, dog, cat and on and on). I never met ANYONE that was loved by every person and animal who ever met them, except Bobby.
He is by far, the funniest man that ever lived. He has a "toe curling" little boy smile, the fullest, most genuin laugh, and he is exotic and dangerous. He is well read and well traveled. He has more, and better stories than an international spy. (I have never been completely convinced he isn't one.) He is kind, understanding, and completely irresistible.
When he would wrapped his big, strong arms around me, the world stood still.
BTW speaking of spys, that Burn Notice character,(Michael Weston) has a whole BUNCH of it, and so does his buddy Sam.
Bobby and I haven't lived together or been romantic, for many, many years now, but we talk several times a week and see each other when time permits. He has every element of "IT" He is the very definition of "IT" He is "IT" on steroids !!!!!
Have I mentioned Danzel Washington? I won't elaborate so I can avoid a cold shower.
Alan Alda, I think I'd marry him.
Hugh Laurie's character "Greg House". Despite the obnoxious nature of this character, he could put his shoes under my bed any time! Exceptionally smart, brilliantly funny and once again, a "bad boy".
I have GOT to change into something cooler.
Great minds think alike, Johnny Depp. Captain Jack Sparrow runs rampant in my fantasy world. HHHMMM Black hair, funny, clever, exotic, bad boy..... I think I see a pattern forming here.
This list would consume more space than a novel so I will leave it with the highlights.
THANKS for the fun! Thoughts and feelings well worth reliving!
