Attracting Love Using Feng Shui

Updated on October 14, 2012

Attracting Love

I am always asked,"How can I meet a man using Feng Shui principles?" My first response is,"Well, what is your bedroom like? Is it restful, What colors are in your room? Is it a all a clutter? is it inviting? Your bedroom is one of the most important rooms in your home. It is the most intimate space in your home."

Is your heart open and ready to give and receive love? Often times we are our own worst enemy and place obstacles in our own path. This can be unconscious due to fear of rejection, past hurts, thus to preventing positive Feng Shui.

Please clean up the clutter, dust bunnies & or neaten up areas of your bedroom. Try to discard and donate anything you have not used the last 2 years or place in storage. In addition, get rid of any excess emotional baggage, release and get over the last boyfriend that broke your heart. By all means do not leave an ex-boyfriend's photo up. We are creating NEW Feng Shui for your bedroom.

Next clear your mind and think about how you will make your bedroom open, warm and inviting. You are opening your heart and clearing clutter both physically and emotionally.

Now we will rearrange your furniture. It is most fruitful to place your bed in the Southwest , South or West facing. Next think about colors that resonate warmth. Look at the color family of reds and violets. The red/violet family of color is considered good Feng Shui color for love, romance. If you can't move your furniture because of structural reasons or space issues, or layout, then next best thing to do is to place a silk or dried floral arrangement in the Southwest corner to enhance the energy of SW. Decorate your room with things that bring images to your mind of love and happiness to affirm your desire.

If you have a window, place a live, healthy plant and nurture it. It is always a good sign of good energy if a plant can thrive and grow. Good healthy growth has in the past been indicative of good things to prosper and grow.

Expert Feng Shui Practiioner

I have consulted on Feng Shui since 1999. Every thought becomes an intention, every piece of furniture occupies a space and there it defines its meaning and its affects on how we live and move through space. An example would be when someone purchased furniture too big for a space. The occupant will always have to live with the spacial imbalance.

I am highly sensitive to my surroundings and will move furniture around until it is right. You know it is right when the energy feel good when you walk into a space.
