My Christmas wish for this year 2010

As most of my friends know this has been one hell of a year for my family. We find ourselves being so thankful for the outcome of my Kidney ordeal and look forward to getting back into the action.

All though we are on the final stage to becoming normal once more there is work to do yet. But as we look around us we see so many people that could use just a nudge to get going with their life. It is so important that we don’t get so wrapped up in our own troubles that we lose site of the world around us.

I don’t think that any of are that important not to give a helping hand when needed. Not all causes need attention from the media or papers. There are families among us that are too proud to ask for help, we must recognize the attribute and confront the need not with pity but with a truly friendly jester of kindness. Often the best thing we can do for someone in need is to be passive in our generosity allowing the person or family in need to hang on to their pride.

This is a selfish act on my part because I learned years ago the more we do to assist another’s the more gift’s of life are returned back to us. Visit a local food bank this year and offer to help or donate what you can. There are clothing banks that really help those that have fallen on hard times this year for one reason or another witch is not up to us to figures out but only to help.

I have been so blessed so much with kindness and generosity of many people that I have never seen before and may never see again. This type of help is what separates us as true Americans from so many countries that based on what’s in it for me. You will never convince me that American’s are not the most giving society in the world regardless of our personal financial ability.

My personal wish for Christmas is to bring light to as many people as possible and help to sooth any personal pain with kindness and a kind word. I believe this is what most people need when it comes down to the end. I only wish to help someone else help themselves to the miracles of this country.

It is with great pleasure that I post my wish list this year,

                                                                 Merry Christmas to all,

I agree with you on "You will never convince me that American’s are not the most giving society in the world regardless of our personal financial ability." Giving without expecting is always a nice feeling the more you give with a humble heart the more you are blessed with....

Thanks for sharing this beautiful told hub
