My Friend Simon
As we search this world, we find that far too many of us are broken. The healers of the world are who we rely on to fix the multiple broken souls and spirits. I don’t know of too many people that can change the mindset of a multitude of mentally ill children, but I do know that Simon Jay is one of these healers. Simon has had no training in his profession, yet he succeeds on a daily basis in teaching adolescents of a new mindset, bringing them into a better mental state than they had upon walking into the psychiatric unit that he works at. Children of all ages come to this unit because of tough home situations, suicidal thoughts, behavioral issues, verbal and visual hallucinations and much more. Simon has changed the lives of countless adolescents and younger kids with his wisdom, advice and well thought out method of leading by example in his actions. He leads adolescents to the path of hope and healing upon tragic and disturbing situations that children are forced to face in their lives. From a personal experience, whenever I am having a hard day, I know that Simon is always one of the first people that I would want to talk to about it, as he always knows just what to say in any type of emergency, both big and small. He lives his life on a daily basis willing to help and lead others to a better mental state that would contribute to a more functional lifestyle. Not too many people live every day with the intent to do what is right and healthy for the benefit of others, but Simon has the dedication, hope, willingness, intelligence and hard working personality with a love of people and a strong desire to expand his knowledge in psychology. If he can help save and flourish lives of young ones without training, imagine the wonders he can do with your excellent program that you have to provide.
