One of the Most Intriguing Weddings for Today's Woman
Here Comes the Bride and Groom, Chante and Stephen Pratt
Man and Woman Are United as One
The wedding ceremony of Stephen Pratt and Chante' Coleman, was conclusively held on Friday, May 20th, 2016. Finally, this family of six individuals became one. Chante was a #single parent, who struggled to be a good mother of three children. She met Stephen, who was a #divorcee. Their infectious courage caused both of them to work diligently toward the improvement of themselves. Chante worked a full-time job and purchased a single home in the Oxford, Pa area. She wanted to assure her children of a good education in one of the best school districts. Chante also pursued her education and even inspired her three children Elijah, LaShae, and Jahshua, to be decent God-fearing young people. She is an example of a strong young woman and mother who does not give up but keep on trusting in #Jehovah God to keep her going on in life. Many days she faced boundless tribulations but Chante's humility and faith in God, helped her to survive. Many women in the world today can identify with Chante's experiences in life. Her example, can help other single mothers to survive, be determined and have strong faith in God as well.
A Determined Couple who Fought for their Family to Become One
Chante later met Stephen, who had to fight through his own problems of divorce. Stephen also continued to work a full-time job and play with the very talented band, #Point Blank. It was because Stephen played with this band that the two of them met. They later decided to live together and eventually had their son Michael. Stephen was admired by many because he took Chante and her three children into his home and treated them as his own children. So many couples today, can identify with the challenges that Chante and Stephen experienced in their lives.
Around 1:00 pm, Stephen paced back and forth in the garage as he waited for his bride. His best man, Winston and brother Michael, attempted to be a source of encouragement to him. Chante, his future wife, had made the tragic mistake of going to get her hair done the day of her wedding. This calamitous decision had Chante's guest wondering if she was the character #Julia Roberts played, the #Runaway Bride. Many of the guests started to be overly concerned about her well being. Family members and friends kept themselves busy taking photos by professional photographers Butch Linton of Linton Photography and David Brown of Shotter Bug Imagery.
Eventually, all the guest decided to eat while the food was warm. They feasted on #barbeque chicken, pulled pork, roasted potatoes, string beans, and tossed salad. Delicious fresh made lemonade and iced tea were served as beverages. The caterer for Chante and Stephen's wedding ceremony was Beef Alo Bob's of Baltimore, Maryland. After numerous telephone calls to Chante, at the salon, the bride finally arrived two hours later. Yes, she had been warned by her mother but Chante has always had her own mind.
The Runaway Bride Finally Arrived for her Wedding
Once Chante arrived, it was time for the #bride to rush upstairs to put on her elegant white gown with beautiful sequence colors throughout it. The #bridesmaids wore beautiful colors based on the peacock, purple, green and other subtle colors. Her flowers also featured similar colors based on the peacock. Chante's flowers were also donated by #Floral Designer and Decorator, From the Heart Originals by Ann Skulski. The wedding ceremony was performed by Stephen's father, Israel Williams as his wife Ann observed carefully in support of her husband. Vows were exchanged by Stephen and Chante which made the ceremony simplistic and inspirational.
Dessert was served when Chante and Stephen, cut their chocolate chip cake with delectable vanilla icing. Sumptuous cupcakes uniquely decorated with purple, green and white icing flowed from the cake in shape of a peacock's tail. The colors of the peacock were Chante's color scheme for her wedding day. This rare and unusual cake was created by Wanisha Bey, one of the bridesmaids and cousins of Chante. Once the cake was cut and shared by the bride and groom, gifts from the guests were later opened. Some guests left a little early because Chante and Stephen had to leave for #Dominican Republic, the next day for their honeymoon. They also planned to have another small ceremony which was included within the package of the resort where they honeymooned.
It is our prayer that this couple will humbly allow Jehovah God, to be that threefold cord in their marriage just as Ecclesiastes 4:12 states, "And someone may overpower one alone, but two together can take a stand against him. And a threefold cord cannot quickly be torn apart." May the marriage of Stephen and Chante, be blessed as they share their life together as husband and wife forever.

Pure delight was expressed in their eyes as well as the eyes of their children. Each of their children participated in the ceremony as groomsmen and LaShae, their daughter as a bridesmaid. A Wedding Day of Joy and Solace for A Deserving Couple
Chante's brother Emmanuel, sang the song Crazy Love. Some of the guests thought it was quite appropriate for this couple. Their love for each other is sometimes indescribable and somewhat crazy, from the perspective of outsiders. Through these presumptuous outside opinions, Chante and Stephen, seem to make their relationship work even with the added circumstances. Their love and commitment toward each other is strong. If they remain focused on what their roles are in this marital arrangement, Chante and Stephen, should have a successful relationship and marriage. Now that the wedding ceremony of vows and rings have been exchanged, it is up to Chante and Stephen, to humbly live together as husband and wife hopefully for the rest of their lives.
The bridal party consist of Chante's sons who served as groomsmen. Elijah, Jahshua and Michael, were so proud and elated to see their mother and father so happy. LaShae, their daughter served as a bridesmaid. The mother of the bride is Paulette Blake and the father of the bride is Sherman Darnell Munn. Stephen's father performed the wedding ceremony. Numerous family members of Stephen's attended the ceremony such as Nyra, Nyaeja, Kay, Dinah, Kasaundra and David Brown, with his son and daughter. It was an unforgettable day of whimsical antics by the bride. In the end genuine love between Stephen and Chante, ruled. May the love between this couple be blessed by our Heavenly Father, the Creator of this beautiful arrangement.
