Paying Homage to The Female Swoon
Here is some Startling, Shocking
news: Swooning is still alive and doing well in 2017. Experts say that swooning is the result of an extreme emotion such as a girl being instantly enamored by a handsome guy and she, acting on her emotions, appears to faint and grow weak. Some of (these) girls do in fact faint.
This verb would readily deligate the various uses that the swoon has not only helped couples who are in love, but keep a male or female's heart and mind captured although they have not confessed their love.
"He's so handsome, I nearly swoon," is probably what many young girls in the 1950s or even the 1960s would whisper to their best girlfriends. I can think of the apex of swooning and that was in 1964 when the Beatles were first introduced to the teenage world in the United States. Am I right?
Examples of Female Swooning:
A sudden touch to her mouth.
An instant clutching of the chest or nearest store display or porch column.
A release from the female's mouth of a beleaguered sigh.
A soft moaning from the woman staring at a handsome guy.
Stuttering because the guy's great looks are causing the woman's thoughts to be interrupted.
Swooning and What a Swoon Might Mean:
A long, drawn out swoon: would indicate that the girl upon viewing a good looking guy is in love at first sight and cannot control herself.
A short, soft swoon: would instantly give proof that the girl whom was swooning really liked her lab partner when she saw him last night at the dorm swimming pool with his shirt off.
A silent swoon: is probably the toughest to interpret. Many onlookers might misread the girl "only" ogling a great looking guy, but take my word for it. A silent swoon is the deepest showing of a girl's love of any form of swooning.
A festive swoon: filled with a load of feminine giggles is just another way to exhibit a severe case of infactuation for the pretty girl's male of choice.
The open swoon: could be mistaken for a passive girl's full control of her emotions, but this swoon takes on more than its meaning. She does swoon each time that the urge hits her. When she and her girlfriends are out on the town, the guy who made this girl swoon is all that she talks about. She even gets brave enough to snap a few photos of him while he is playing tennis or reading at the library. This is called "Display Swooning."
Physical Signs of a Mature Female's Swooning:
A discreet wink.
A silent kiss made from her ruby red lips.
The quick toss of her hair from her shoulder.
A prolonged gaze by the girl who is really falling in love.
Lip syncing the words, "I LOVE YOU," to the guy she idolizes.
Physical Signs of a Young Girl's Swooning:
Wild giggling with her girlfriends in public.
A quick look in her compact mirror to make sure that she looks perfect.
A sudden yell (that equals a Banshee) when she sees a handsome guy.
Wild strutting as she walks toward the handsome guy.
An aggressive behavior toward the "apple of her eye" as she all but runs toward the heart throb.
Without warning, she tells her other female friends that she can handle the situation, but she will call later.
This hub covers the vast details of the common swoon which by the way, does not discriminate against anyone of race, color, or national origin.
Guys: I would tell you about the faint, but with this hub, you already have "dynamite in your hands."
