NPD- Rising Above Narcissist Abuse

Updated on July 23, 2017

Poetry and Stories to help raise awareness, and insight, into intrusive, and dangerous, personality disorders, and to encourage healing.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

First Love Yourself

In order to fully heal and recover from Narcissist Abuse, we are made to search deeply within ourselves, in order to make sense of such an incomprehensible reality, and to settle the Cognitive Dissonance brought on by this unfathomable abuse, that leaves Narcissist Victims painfully confused and unsettled. It is in this tedious soul-searching journey of ours, we learn to better love ourselves, and to give to ourselves that which we were trying to obtain from outside sources, making us a target.

Broken Wings

Trauma and Recovery

Rising above Narcissist Abuse is not as easy as 1, 2, and 3, of course. Anyone who has been a victim of such a horrifically, indescribable trauma as NPD Abuse can attest that it is one of the most agonizing experiences that anyone can suffer, as well as recover from. It takes time, and soul-work. It is unbelievably excruciating. But, we will, and do, eventually rise above it, leaving us stronger, much wiser, and more compassionate to those who have also suffered at the hands of Narcissists, or still continue to do so. You are not alone!

Escape From The Narcissist

Our escape from

the Narcissist is not about

making them taste their

and rightful defeat;

Rather, our victory

is for our very

own rewards,

which, though at first,

are often only bittersweet.

But, once we are

truly healed

from their abuse, and able

to find our inner-strength,

confidence, and genuine self-love,

No longer will it matter if the Narcissist

is aware of his/her’s wrongs;

we will have finally found our

long-awaited wings,

and forever risen above!

Unfamiliar buoyancy;

heavy and tired arms

finally liberated,

at last!

Peace and tranquility

are ours to have,

as the Narcissist's baggage

(by the wayside) we cast!

Famous Last Words

Healing From Narcissist Abuse

Moving On

Moving on from Narcissist Abuse, especially when there has been a gang of them, from a Facebook Site that was suppose to be the very ones to help you, is difficult. Have you moved on?
