Some Helpful Tips On How To Tell If A Woman Is Interested In You

Updated on November 26, 2013

Maybe you’ve given up. Maybe you feel that no girl is ever going to like you. Maybe you feel that the confident, good looking guys are the ones who will always get the girls. Maybe there’s one special girl you care about and you wonder if there is some magical secret about how to get her to like you. The problem with you is that you just cannot tell if a woman is interested in you or not. The thing is, if you stop, get a hold on yourself and follow these few helpful tips, you could probably accomplish just that. So let’s take a look at how you can go about this.

Be a part of her life

If you are in a group, try and participate in the conversation. Don’t get upset if you can’t dominate the discussion, most girls don’t like loudmouths. However, she is not going to get to know you at all if you don’t speak up. So, even if you are soft, put forward your opinions once in while. She will start noticing you – it might take time to get her to like you or even notice that you are there but that day will come. Once you become a part of a discussion, it’s easy to talk about your opinions and feelings. Don’t single her out when you talk but talk to the group as a whole. You’ll know she is interested when she begins to look at you for your opinion on the subject under discussion.

Stick with what you know

Don’t get into discussions about which you know nothing when you are around her. That will only make people pull your leg and laugh at you. She will notice and respect you more if what you say is meaningful. If you are on the same wavelength as she is and you can discuss things and strike up a conversation with her about things you are both passionate about, it will go a long way in how to tell if a woman is interested in you. Tell yourself that the only way to know if she is interested is if you are around and if you are talking and sharing experiences.

Be there

You have to be around her – not snooping, not following, not out of sight. When common friends meet, make sure you are there too. Even if you are on the fringes of the group, soon she will begin to feel comfortable and then it’s easier to start up a conversation. Being around her but not being in-your-face is very important to get her interested in you. When she starts paying you more attention or when she shows clearly that she values your opinion is how to tell if a woman is interested in you.

Be natural

Try to be as natural as possible. You might like someone but you won’t know how to tell if she is interested in you by staring at her like a lovesick puppy. This makes girls feel weird and uncomfortable. When you look at her, look naturally, not furtively and if your eyes catch hers, smile a bit and look away naturally. If you hastily turn your eyes away, she is going to be spooked and no way is she going to think of you as anything but a weirdo. Even if you are shy, look straight at her when you do – not sideways or furtively because that just sends out a wrong message, almost like you are stalking her and that’s the last thing you want her to think. If you are natural, it is much easier to pick up the signs when she begins to get interested in you. If you are more tuned in to what she has to say and less focused on what you are saying, it is easier to spot when she gets interested.

Be a friend

This is the first step in getting her interested. She needs to know she can count on you and make yourself a good listener so she is comfortable with you. Time is the best way that you can get closer to a woman and get her interested in you. Of course, if the chemistry isn’t right, you will still have her as a friend. Don’t cross the boundaries of friendship before you are sure that she cares. Even on social media or on your mobile, don’t deluge her with messages and texts – there’s nothing more likely to put a girl off. Be in touch, be friendly, be funny if you can and remember that less is more. Don’t misread friendship for an increased interest and do something that might frighten or drive her away. Take it slow and when the time is right, she will show that she is interested. That’s the time to cross that sacred line and get into a closer relationship. Men very often misread a woman being friendly as being interested. You might want to err on the side of caution and maintain a friendly relationship till you are sure.

Listen for the tone

Most women soften their tones slightly when they are speaking to someone they are interested in. That could be one of the ways how to tell if a woman is interested in you. So if you have known her for a while, watch and listen. This does not mean that you do not participate in the social conversation that goes on around you. Draw her into any discussion but do not focus on only her. And when she does speak to you, try and see if her voice changes just that little bit. This really is a great indicator of her interest. Of course, when you see her eyes softening too when she looks at you, that could be the final frontier and you be sure she is telling you in every womanly way that she knows that she is interested.
