Stuborn Love

Updated on October 12, 2015

Paper Flowers

Now and then I grow insecure.

The roots of Love grow all around.

How much love do you need,

How much love does it take,

To get through to you?

I need some shelter of make believe,

For my own protection.

Time and time again I see your face.

You have nowhere to run,

Nowhere to hide.

I will find you,

Anywhere you go.

In your heart and in your mind,

I will go and forever,

I will be your lover.

In a room full of strangers,

I asked you to marry me.

Like a captive bird without love,

You said NO..!

That won't stop me,

From loving you.

But from now on,

I will only bring you,

Paper Flowers.
