Love as a subject

Photographers have keen eyes for good subjects when taking photos. LOVE surpasses other themes.

Let's say, a mother holding her child close to her breast while kissing the baby's forehead. Isn't it nice to take a photo of its scene. It's like the modern version of Mother and Child (pertaining to the usual image of Mary holding the Baby Jesus).

How about two lovers at the park, embracing each other, oblivious of people watching them?

A silhouette of a couple, holding hands while watching the sunset is a very good subject, too.

Themes about love are endless. I think, all I see around me is full of love scenarios.

The birds chirping, courtship is like the high shrill or chirping and the pirouette of the male to entice the female as a future mate.

Dogs are vocal, when they're in heat. They are affectionate to their human masters.

Cats are close-knit, too. Courtship always woke me up in the wee hours of early morning as meowing alternate its crescendo.

Well, to photograph it, you should be patient and knows how to have proper timing when taking photos of such lovely scenes.

Valentine's Day 2010...

The images of love around the world only mean one thing: LOVE. Care, affection, concern...whatever words you may associate with love only mean this thing called LOVE. Because of LOVE, God created the world, the non-living and living things existing on/in it and the most special one is us: HUMAN BEING.

So on this Month of Love, February, let us cherish, once more the unsinkable meaning of the word by appreciating the pictures that appear on this hub.

Happy viewing everyone and Happy Valentine's Day to all Hubbers!!!

Taking a Look at Love

My heart is bursting;

as I see you're smiling.

Your eyes are sparkling:

as you approaches me running.

We crushed into a tight embrace

and let go of our emotions;

Kissing wantonly;

oblivious of the surroundings.

The hot episode faded

and we separated.

But still kept on hugging;

never wanting to be separated again.

Because of the overwhelming love

that we feltĀ from the start

'til our lives be perished

in this world that's full of danger

and treachery

With God's help...we'll persevere.

(A Poem by Ireno A. Alcala aka travel_man1971/04Dec2010)

Love in every way

I can see love through writing.

I can feel being loved because of your embrace.

Love is in the air as I read the message on the Valentine card.

Love emanates from the gifts I received because your thoughts count the most.

I am loved because of your kisses.

I am loved, I am loved.

      Pictures paint a thousand words, even millions. Thanks to you, bacville.

      It's all pictures, less words, but it's nice. I don't need to read very long hubs if I can already understand the meaning of the pictures. Thanks, travel_man1971.
