Narcissists Mind Games

Nightmare

Narcissists have a masterful way of serving their victims such deviously 'subtle blows' of ongoing abuse, that upon the victim's attempts at trying to explain the Narcissist's abuse to others, it is the victim who ends up sounding like the lunatic. The Narcissist already knows this, and has cunningly set up this plan from the very beginning.

Narcissists Like This Song

Narcissists Love No One

Upon sharing with him

Her deep-seeded feelings

of sadness, confusion

and pain,

She became the target

of his ghosting,

and the object of his heartless

and bitter disdain.

Silent Treatment

Future Faking

His love for her was merely

for show, and his “academy

award-winning” performance,

superficial.

Upon their breakup,

she saw with distinct clarity,

that his entire being was spookily,

and eerily, artificial.

Forgiveness

Smear Campaign

His friends hungered

for more of his Smear Campaign

in eager and drooling

suspense;

His words of “true love

and devotion” were merely fake,

and all cleverly,

masterminded nonsense.

Personality Disorder

Crumbs

His Flying Monkeys

became his own personal

detectives, and diligently noted

all of her whereabouts;

In their minion fashion,

they frisked her for his approval,

and his crumbly,

buttery handouts.

Second-Guessing Yourself

Switch And Bait

Strangely, others have the same account

when conveying the Narcissist’s

cunningly, insidious

gaming sequence;

Especially, the Gaslighting,

Triangulating, and Switch & Bait,

which occur in the relationship

with astonishing frequence.

Narcissists Increasing?

Do you think that Narcissist Personality Disorder is actually on the rise, or not necessarily, but just being talked about more these days?

Practice Makes Perfect

The Narcissists' masterful manipulations, and calculating moves, are not carried out due to some "supernatural intelligence" on their part, but rather, it is due to the fact that the Narcissist has been practicing, and sharpening, their dark-art skills, since they were old enough to have the ability to reason, with primitive understanding, to make certain choices in their lives, so as to use people as objects (appliances), for their own personal satisfaction, and insatiable need for gain (fuel).

Alas, the daughter of our neighbor, "H" had a child out of wedlock. She has left her child in the care of the father and run off to Mexico with another man, "J". Mr. J has a criminal record and J knows this. J could not get into the Army due to his record. Why do some people allow themselves to be manipulated?

      Frustrated.

Yes, it's best to stay away from these sorts. Very damaging!

      NIMH » Antisocial Personality Disorder

Antisocial personality disorder is defined by the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual on Mental Disorders, fourth edition (DSM-IV) as “...a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood.”

There are many manipulators out there!
