The value of a good friend

Updated on October 31, 2014

Something hard to find

A friend is a very special person, someone that cares about you and is always concerned about your well being. A friend is someone that laughs with you when you're happy, cries with you when you're sad. When times are good a friend is that person who desires to share it with you and when times are bad a friend is someone who stands by your side to offer love and support. I have not been fortunate to find many real friends but there is one I feel blessed to have on my side. in this hub I will refer to her simply as Andrea, words can never fully express how glad I am that she choose to be my friend. my life is enriched every time I talk to her and she always has a sweet voice that warms my heart. we live far apart but I can feel her love radiating through my phone every time communicate. If I should die today or live 100 years the memory of her shall never fade away and I'll carry her in my heart into the darkness of the grave. I can't explain the magic of her gentle nature but what I do know is that anyone who gets exposed to her will be forever blessed to have known such a great person. if I had but one wish it would be that her name be written in the stars for all the world to see for her voice is a melody sweetly song for me. The reason why I speak so highly of Andrea is to demonstrate the importance and value of having a good friend. in life one may come to know many people they consider to be friends but not all of them are truly good friends that's worth their weight in gold. looking back on my life I can recall many occasions where the people I though were friends turned out to be back stabbing demons who only sought my destruction. if you really want to know the true value of a friend just stop letting them borrow money and other benefits they enjoy from you and one by one you'll see them fade away. I can't say that about Andrea because she has never asked for anything but my friendship therefore if she did ask I would gladly give. in my opinion better is a friend far off than a brother that's near and yet unsupportive, that being said I offer my deepest thanks to Andrea for being the greatest of all friends.
