We are not all perfect
Not perfection!
To the lady in Kohl's dressing room yesterday. I can't stop thinking about what you said When you walked out, you were obviously frustrated. You said to your husband, "Let's just go. I'm done nothing works anymore on me." He smiled and said, "whatever you want to do." Then as I was walking by on way out you said, "I can't be perfect like some people with their perfectly small bodies and perfect little lives!" I didn't see anyone else around so I assume you meant me. Well, let me start by saying I am not perfect I wish I could have told you in person. I hide my body issues so they don't show as best I can. I am terrible a maintaining a good relationship with friends these days. The last guy I talked to faulted me for my job because I wasn't a cutesy office girl. I work only 9 months out of the year but I love what I do and who I work for too much to give it up for an office job. Did I mention I live alone with a cat, yeah I'm that stereotype? So I'm not perfect I have judge people like you middle aged with husband thinking your life must be perfect but I will stop saying it if you do about me. We all have struggles I get it whether you believe me or not. But the truth is I don't want perfect I just want to be me.
Sincerely not perfect in Peoria,
I originally wrote this as a status update on Facebook. But the more I look at it I realize it's a message for everyone. We all have our struggles, things we don't like about ourselves and things that frustrate us. But truth is because we all do means we are not alone. So somone may think is perfect may be struggling with a life problem too. So judge if you want but if you're pointing a finger there is three pointing back at you!
