When a Friend Turns Against You

Updated on December 2, 2013

It's great to have a best friend. You can tell them all of your secrets and form a special bond. However there comes a time when you see who your best friend is and who isn't.

Some friends turn against their friends. It could be because of a guy or they just like to be involved in drama. When a friend sees that you are going through a bad time they are supposed to stay by your side.

A friend who sides with someone who is bullying you is not your friend. That is a traitor. A true friend stays by your side and accepts you for who you are. They cheer you up when you are sad and do not carry news.

If you have a friend who is bringing you down cut ties. It won't get better. Even if the person comes around they will do it again. "A Leopard does not change it's spots." Focus on people who are there for you no matter what.

Have you ever had a friend turn on you before?
