When a relationship ends, should you keep his/her stuff?

Go For A Good Spring Cleaning!

When a relationship ends, I feel the best thing to do is to make a good spring-cleaning (as my girlfriends would say!). I know that sucks, and I’ve been there too, but it’s a fact!

Out with the old and in with the new! Why keep stuff around that once belonged to them for? Of course, you’re still in memory land, but the reality is that you must move on and get rid of that old stagnant energy. It’s a universal law that when you remove and get rid of stuff that no longer serves you or your best interest, you will open the door to receiving new energy into your life, and more than often enough, a new love interest!

Sometimes it happens that the other person keeps something that you want back, like a key to your pad for instance. I had the situation happen to me and I realized that when someone does that, they are subconsciously keeping the item to one day come back into your life if what they are doing now does not pan out for them. It happened, they came back, but it never worked out in the long run. The same person kept much personal stuff in my backyard shed and came back a year later to get it (I was about to sell it off at a garage sale because I was fed-up of seeing the stuff). He even told me that he would have to make another trip to get the rest, but maybe in a few months or so. I told him, take it now or else it will be sold off at my next garage sale. Frustrated, he took everything. I never saw him again. Thank God!

So, when a relationship does your spring-cleaning and let the sunshine in!
