Where to Celebrate Your Anniversary

So your anniversary is just around the corner and you are looking to do more than just go out to dinner. A trip sounds nice but now you are faced with the question “where to celebrate your anniversary?’ Fear not, there are several options that are both great destinations and reasonably priced. These ideas will work whether you are celebrating your first anniversary or your thirtieth.

The wine country

In American take a trip to Napa Valley in California, in Chile try the Maipo River Valley. No matter where you live, it is likely that you are relatively close to a wine region. Not only will your trip be an opportunity to taste and enjoy some wonderful wines, but you are sure to find some great hotels, B&Bs, or a château regardless of the region you visit. This, coupled with the wonderful restaurants that always seem to be found near wineries, will make for a fabulous anniversary vacation.

Your city’s best hotel

If you are looking for a great option but just don't have the time to travel, take a look at staying very close to home in your city or town's best hotel. Plan a night on the town close by and take advantage of all that the hotel has to offer from the room service to the spa and hot tubs. By the time you checkout, you will have forgotten that you are just a few minutes from home.

A lakeside cabin

There may be no better bargain than a trip to a nearby lake. Homeowners regularly make their lake homes available for rent, and most are on a rental program making reservations incredibly easy. You will have a wonderful time in the peaceful lakeside settings. Evenings on the deck overlooking the lake and mornings with a cup of coffee and a view make this a great option for you anniversary.

The mountains

A great as a lakeside cabin will be, a chalet in the mountains might even be better. You have all of the privacy in the world and views that will take your breath away. As with the lake cabins, many home owners keep the chalets on a rental program so you can find virtually any option you would like, and often at a very reasonable price. Take a look at this option and you will be incredibly surprised at both the price and the experience.

An all inclusive beach resort

If you're willing to spend a little bit more you should look into an all inclusive resort. Take off to a fabulous tropical destination and leave every care behind. With the all inclusive option, you won't even need a wallet. Your anniversary will be spent enjoying the best in life, and you will not have to even consider how much you are spending, because it was all included in your original price. Not only is this a great trip, but because it is all inclusive, you don't have to worry about a single thing other than what your next drink will be or which restaurant you will choose for the evening. A great anniversary trip indeed.

 A national park

If you are an outdoors kind of couple, you will love a national park experience. Most of the attractions don't cost very much and many are free. Further, many parks have very nice accommodations so that you can "rough it" in style. No need to pack the tents, just do some research and you will find cabins, full service hotels, and more at many parks. Make your reservations now, and have a great anniversary experience right. It he middle of mother nature’s finest.

In decided where to celebrate your anniversary, the most important thing is to find a spot that you will both enjoy. Make the time together special by planning together, and make the celebration something you will both remember. The goal for your anniversary celebration should be less about the trip and more about your time together.
