Walking in Love Part 1

Showing Love to Others

The natural result of love for God, is genuine love for others. Anything less is hypocrisy. Assurance of Salvation is rooted in love for other people made possible only by the Holy Spirit through New Birth.

Remember love is often spelled T-I-M-E. Love for one another will immediately cause us to desire to serve others, to be a helping hand.

There are many ways to serve others. Doing something for someone such as something that is easy for you, but difficult or stressful for them. Time, money, and prayer to name a few.

Millions are served. Few serve, and in our lack of serving, we are unlike Jesus Christ. The multiple ways to serve were left to us by Jesus Christ.

Today's pattern of taking without giving is unheard of in the true church of the Bible. Even when persecution if the early church scattered its members, they were faithful servants while fleeing. Acts 8:4 says, "Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching The Word". They were still serving. Serving the message of Truth and Love.

Truth and Love are given to us to pass on. Blessings are given to share. Riches are given so that one can give to those in need, not just to give to beneficiaries of a will. Health is given so that our strength can be used to lift the burdens of others. From God, years of life are given so we can have time to influence others with love and service to point them to Jesus Christ in a dark world.

Receivers who do not give love are simply losers. Harsh but true. We lose the thrill of giving, of seeing the sparkle in the eyes of the ones being helped, of watching one go on to success who had been counted out and of witnessing our own faith and love grow as a result of sharing the love freely given from Jesus Christ.

See we'd be the loser. So we must serve in love, and we must do it in love for the glory of God our Father. Its the only way to be like Jesus Christ, without real love for others there is no way to connect to God our Father.

So let us give such as we have that others will see the Light of Jesus Christ shining in us.

We ought to give because we were given so much after all:

For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Son, Jesus Christ, that whosoever would accept this ultimate service of love, will not die , but have everlasting life, and that abundantly.(Psalm 23) Dying for us in love, was the greatest that Jesus Christ did for us. The least we could do is live for Him, in love and service.

You see we have no excuse. Now we can freely say "We've been served."

Proverbs 24:12 says "If thou says, Behold we knew it not: Doth not He that ponders and searches the heart not consider it? And He that keeps thy soul, doth not He know it? And shall He not render to every man "according to his service"?

Jude 20-23 says to serve in love. We are strongly instructed by God Our Father Himself to love others.

You see, Jesus Christ wants us to love others, in the fullness of the word Love.

Our friends we say again.......LOVE.

Showing Love: Speaking with Love

Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word, nor unwholesome or worthless talk ever come out of your mouth, but only speak that which is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace, Gods favor, to those who hear it.

Let all bitterness and indignation and wrath, rage, bad temper, resentment, anger, animosity, quarreling, brawling, clamor, contention, slander, evil-speaking, and abusive or blasphemous language be banished from you, with all malice, which is any ill will or anything based on such destructiveness.

And become useful and helpful and kind to one another, tenderhearted, compassionate, understanding, loving hearted, forgiving one another, readily and freely, as God our Father in Jesus Christ forgives us.Therefore be imitators of God our Father, copy and follow His example, as well beloved children imitate their father.

Walk in love, esteeming and delightful in one another, as Jesus Christ loves us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice.....

Immortality, impurity, and greediness must not even be named among you, as is fitting and proper among the saints, which are Gods consecrated people.

Let there be no filthiness, obscenity, indecency, nor silly and corrupt talk, nor coarse jesting which are not fitting or becoming: but instead voice your thankfulness to God.

But now put we must put away and rid ourselves completely of all these things: anger, rage, bad feelings toward others, curses and slander, foul mouthed abuse, and shameful utterance from your lips!

Do not lie to one another for we have stripped off the old unregenerate self with its evil practices. And have clothed ourselves with the new spiritual self, which is renewed and remolded into the knowledge of Him who created it.

Clothe yourselves therefore as God Our Fathers own chosen ones, who are purified and holy and well-beloved by God our Father Himself, by putting on behaviour marked by tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a humble feeling or opinion of ourselves, gentle ways, and patience which is tireless and long suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes with good temper.

Be gentle and fore bearing with one another, readily pardoning one another: even as The Lord has forgiven you,so you must also.

And above all these put on love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony.

Love Is....

Love is patient. Love is kind. Love does not want what belongs to others. Love does not brag. Love is not proud. Love is not rude. Love does not look out for its own interests. Love does not easily become angry. Love does not keep track of other peoples wrongs. Love is not happy with evil. Love is full of joy when the truth is spoken. Love always protects. Love always trusts. Love always hopes. Love never gives up.Love never fades. Love forgives. Love embraces. Love is never cold. Love never manipulates. Love builds. Love lifts up. Love never lies. Love is not doubtful. Love looks for the best in everyone. Love is truth. Love is life. Love never dies. Love is forever. Love never fails.

Why should we Love others?

If anyone imagines that he is come to know and understand much of divine things, without love, he does not yet perceive and recognize and understand as strongly and clearly, nor has he become as intimately acquainted with anything as he ought or as is necessary. (1 Corinthians 8:2)

This is my commandment; That you love one another just as I have loved you. No one has greater love than to lay down His own life for His friend.(John 15:12-13)

Bear one another's burdens and troublesome moral faults, and in this way, fulfill and observe perfectly the law of Jesus Christ and complete what is lacking in your obedience to it. For if any person thinks himself to be somebody to important to condescend to shoulder another's load when he is nobody of superiority except in his own estimation, he deceives and deludes and cheats himself. But let every person carefully scrutinize and examine and test his own conduct and his own work. He can the have a personal satisfaction and joy of doing something commendable without resorting to boastful comparison with his neighbor.

So then, as occasion and opportunity open to us, let us do good to all, people not only being useful and profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith, those who belong to Gods family with you, The Believers.

The love we receive from Jesus Christ we should also all remember to give freely to others.

A Prayer For All

Let the peace, soul harmony, which comes from Jesus Christ rule in our hearts, deciding an settling with finality all questions that arise in our minds, in that peaceful state to which members of Jesus Christs One Body we were also called to live. And be thankful and appreciative, giving praise to Jesus Christ continually.Let the words spoken by Jesus Christ The Messiah have its home in our hearts and minds and dwell in us in all its richness, as we teach and train and admonish one another in all wisdom in spiritual things. Whatever we do in word or deed, do everything in the name of Jesus Christ and in dependence upon His Person, giving praise to God Our Father through Him.

May Jesus Christ grant us out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy Spirit. May Jesus Christ through our faith dwell and make His permanent home in our hearts! May we be rooted deep in love and founded securely in love. That we may have the power to apprehend with all the saints, the experience of that love, what is the breadth and length, and height and depth of it. That we may really come to know the love of Jesus Christ, which surpasses mere knowledge, That we may all be filled unto all the fullness of God our Father.

For our determined purpose is that we may know Jesus Christ, that we may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving, recognizing, and understanding the wonders of His Person, more strongly and more clearly, and that we may in the same way come to know the power outflowing from The Resurrection of Jesus Christ which exerts over believers, and that we so may share His sufferings as to be continually transformed, in spirit into His likeness even to His death, in the hope that we may attain to the spiritual and moral resurrection. In the Name of Jesus Christ.

Amen. So let it be.

He knocked and we told Him to come in, however, we left

the door locked. He was baffled at this, so He politely knocked again.

Again, we said "Come In!" But still we left the door locked.

peaking in the window, He knocked once more............We

said..."Fine, come in Jesus Christ, but excuse our mess. We were trying

to hide this part from You."And Jesus replied..." I have come to
