I love you

Wind on the sea

‘I love you’, barely scratches the surface of how I feel

Holding you close to my heart always seems so unreal

Like a fleeting moment that quickly passes us by

We hold each other for hours and yet, time flies

Can I hold you forever and never have to let it end?

Holding each other while making love again and again

Touch my heart with your words and bring me to life

Say you will stay with me forever and always be my wife

Let me feel your lips as they slowly begin to embrace

Such soft sweetness set perfectly on your pretty face

Wrap your arms around me and never let me go

For our love shall be the light that softly glows

Make love to me and let me love you with kisses

Your eyes touch my heart like an arrow that never misses

Holding you is holding everything I could ever need

You are my world like the gentle wind upon the sea

Wow Mr. Hayes, from this poem I can see you getting down on one knee and asking that special woman in your life to marry you and always be your wife. You can take simple little words and create beautiful songs that pour from your fingertips. She must be one lucky woman. Keep writing and I will keep reading. Absolutely wonderful:)
