You are the CEO of your Life

Updated on February 18, 2013

.

☆҉‿Research has shown that the 5 people we associate with the most, influence the way we behave and we will be like those friends in a matter of years, as we gravitate toward their attitudes and even habits.

.People affect us in various ways:

  1. Some people make you laugh so much when they are around you.
  2. Some inspire you to be a better person.
  3. Some can make you lose your self esteem as they can’t see you being good at anything.
  4. Some see you hit rock bottom and kindly/patiently give a loving hand to lift you up. Non - Judgemental.
  5. Many are there when life is rosy - full of abundance and success.
  6. Some hide when you are going through difficult times and feeling so stressed.
  7. A few walk in and stand by you, when the rest of the world walks out on you.
  8. Some just give of themselves.
  9. Some just take and take.
  10. Some you think of and break into a smile.
  11. Some you think of and feel a dark cloud looming.
  12. Then there are those who are no longer friends because they are now like family to you. So close, you can share anything with them.

You know who is who.....

.

Quote

~ “Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.” ~ Mother Theresa

(Ps.

Cutting people off doesn’t necessaritly mean not speaking to them. It’s spending very less time with them.)

Excellent outlook on taking charge of one's life. We must not let others dictate our thoughts, we have our own self to define as we mature and grow.

Ver wise words, I had a friend who I ended up calling a psychic vampire, she totally drained me. as you said, she took and took, but she was my best friend. sadly she passed away now I feel awful but I also know there was nothing I could do to help her, friends are the best thing we can have, but sometimes they can bring you down, nell

A wonderful message, delivered perfectly... CEO of your life... one of those things someone else writes that hits you upside the head, you shake your head saying why didn't I think of that?

      My favorite # ...

12.Then there are those who are no longer friends because they are now like family to you. So close, you can share anything with them.

One is born into a family, and makes friends early in life... other people marry into your family... you make the point that 'we' have the power to let the negative imput of others bring us down or take control... and limit the negative imput value. So wise, so true. Sharing.

Very wise words indeed! People often fail to recognise the massive influence the people they hang around with have on their lives and their choices and attitudes. If you surround yourself with positive minded people who support you when the going is tough, you become stronger, more supportive and positive minded yourself. Behaviour in groups forms feedback loops that intensify those behaviour patterns.

Beautiful and wise words. Life is kind of like a party.you invite a lot of people, some leave early, some stay all night, some laugh with you, some laugh at you, and some show up really late. But in the end, after the fun, there are a few who stay to help you clean up the mess. and most of the time, they arent even the ones who made the mess. These people are your real friends in life. They are the ones who matter most.

      Many Blessings to you.
