What advice would you give yourself?

If you could go back in time and give yourself advice in only ONE crucial moment in your life, when would it be and what advice would you give yourself?

    Great question!
If I could go back in time at one crucial moment in my life, my advice to myself would be, don't be afraid. God truly gives us nothing we can't handle. Take a leap of faith and jump out there. What do you have to lose?

Not that I would have listened to anyone including myself, lol, but it would have to be age 14.  You are a beautiful and smart girl that can accomplish a lot but be patient and think before you act how it will/can affect your life.  Enjoy your teen years by just being a kid.  You can't please everyone all of the time so just be you.

The time is this present moment on January 23, 2011 A.D. 12:04pm. My advice to myself is to acknowledge that I have fulfilled my ultimate purpose on hubpages and google adsense and to now kick back and relax while I watch my 1 article go around the world in total victory through 100 percent referring sites. There is no stopping it now as there are now 8 countries: United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, Australia, Japan, Brazil, China. Some of the cities are: New York City, New York; San Francisco, Ca.; Pelato, Brazil; Wuhan, China. It is finish.

Read one wonderful article on a similar topic, which in spite of being tempted to recommend here, won't, because every time I recommend some reading I'm voted down smile

So to answer your question, the only advice I would give myself is this: Do what you have to, and don't listen to anybody but your gut, your heart and your brain. In future, when you look back, let it not be said that the crap you went through was anybody's fault but your own, or, in other words, that you lived life like you thought you wanted to.

I always knew that I'll tell myself at that moment this:
' don't be silly, everybody in the four corners of the Earth is facing a problem and you are not alone with that.. . God loves you and He'll make you make it through this excruciating storm'

definitely not to look back just on walking and drop all the baggage along the way.

Don't sell this building.  Hang on to it. I was 25 at the time and part owner of a commercial building and had complete control of it.

Live like there's no tomorrow -- no regrets. Follow your intuition.

    Live like there's no tomorrow,
Love like you've never been hurt, and
Dance like no one is watching

I would have done more of this in my teens/20s

I would encourage "me" to find another solace rather than food for all the emotional upheaval of the past.  In other words, "Step away from that cupcake!"

"Spend more time getting to know yourself. Your timeline is the only one that matters in your life. The more you know about who you are the happier you will be in the decisions you make. Oh, and you will meet and marry the most amazing woman in the world so stop worrying about it."
