   Yes,  They would appreciate it, hand them a tissue and say here "clean your nose". Not telling them is more embarassing!

   Probably not, if it happened to a stranger.  I have told that to a friend, back when I was in high school, though.  I said, "A good friend will never let you look bad. So..as your friend, I'm telling you to blow your nose."  Then I handed her a tissue, lol.  We're still friends, so it worked!

   Absolutely!  I'd want someone to do the same for me.  The "golden" rule....
   
   My answer would just be "Hi, you have a little something hanging from your nose."  but say it quietly so no other guest hears..

   After I stop laughing about this question, I will tell you my experience...  OK, I'm done now.  There was a guy at work a few years back who was very good looking.  I mean seriously good looking, all the women had a thing for him.  I was standing at the front desk at one of our facilities and he took me by the elbow and said, "Can I talk to you for a minute?"  I thought, "Wow, he's going to ask me out!", right?  He took me over to the side and said ,"I just wanted to tell you that you have something glittery hanging out of your nose." 
   
   So in answer to your question, Sueroy, by all means, and do it with finesse.  Hey, he thought even my boogers were attractive!

    I thought I told not to do that again. I laughed so hard I almost puked again. You've got to stop this your killing me. And yes, after I picked myself up off the ground and quit laughing I would have to tell them so I wouldn't start laughing again. You are the one that asked the question about the fart in the elevator aren't you.

    Very funny. It reminds me of a story my Hubby told me the other night in the pub. He said he never ever accepts an unwanted drink from anyone, even close friends, and even if they have only sipped it once and then say, "I'm off home now, do you want the rest of this to stop it being wasted?". The reason for this is he was once given a pint that was virtually untouched, and the person had gone home early. The crowd he was with told Hubby he might as well finish the pint. As he went to take a sip of it he saw a huge booger floating on the surface of the 'head' of the pint. He immediately put it down,showed all the other guys in the group ,and amidst much 'heaving' and 'reaching' they quickly got the barmaid to throw it away.
    
    That is too close for comfort in my book!!

    Ok so I did this thing a few weeks ago to see if anybody would tell me if I had a boogie hanger. I blew my nose and let one hang in there. It wasn't too big but you could see it  if you would talk to me . My bosses said nothing. My coworkers said nothing and then a friend talked to me and said nothing. About three or four hours later it just fell out. What a bunch of jerks. I maked it a habbit to check myself in the mirror every once in a while.

    If the person was a friend I would hand them a tissue and request that they wipe their nose !!
    If it was a stranger I would ignore it after all it wouldnt be any of my business would it ?
