Why do people have a problem with interracial marriage and relationships? Does God?

I was wondering why people look down on couples who are of different race and if God had a problem with it... I can't see Him having issues with it but I could have missed that in the bible. I know certain races have different cells (visible different) but I can't imagine it is based on that!

People differentiate human beings for their color, aptitude, physique and creed. God only differentiate creed and it’s extent in people not human beings. Since races are designated by people, people find ways and means to keep the boundary.

I don't think God would have a problem with interracial marriages.  We as humans put in this "BIG DEAL".  If you love someone and are compatible then go ahead and get married it is much better than illicit affairs and the so called living together fad.

It's a form of intolerance. People don't like what they can't understand or think is different. I wrote a hub on that about haters -  http://hubpages.com/hub/Haters-Why-Haters-Love-to-Hate

It's because of culture and people who belong in that culture cannot get out or accept that it is happening. For them it's easier to reject the idea out-rightly than assess their thinking and accept that after all we are all humans regardless of race.

I don't think interracial marriages is as big of an issue as in the previous years.People are now more accepting of that reality.Of course , I live in California where that never seems to be an issue. It can be possibly a problem in a city where bigotry is still a big part of the cultural make up.If you ever saw the old movie in the 60'S "Guess who's coming to dinner" that deals with interracial marriages, that was pretty much like in San francisco then.It is totally different now.
