"Thank You For Being in My Life or Having Been in it"...who would you say it to?
There are so many people that I would say this to. My husband, my parents, my grandparents, old boyfriends, friends the list is pretty much endless. So many people have touched my life in the 54 years that I've been alive.
I agree with Just Ask Susan, there are so many people in my life that have made my life better for knowing them. I would thank my fiance, my daughters, my parents, my Gran, my friends for always being there, my wonderful boss and my 85 year old mother-in-law to be who is so kind and caring. I have probably missed some special people off this list, but there have been so many people in my life that have been a privilege to have known and have had a massive impact on my life.
I agree that there are numerous people that I would say this to...
My grandmother & grandfather - God rest their souls - would top the list. Followed by my great grandparents, grandparents on my father's side, mother & father, brothers & sisters-in-law, and my fiance... among others. =]
There are honestly a few people that I think negatively of that I would still thank, because without them, I would not have learned much-needed lessons, and been able to get to where I am today.
You are indeed welcome.............this meeting was not by my own design.......
there will be a 'some lesson, or wisdom' for me to take forward,. I will , always rembember the part that YOU played in that learning or lesson,.
" YOU" represents, the old fragile black woman who gave me the " secret" to liver and gravy
"YOU", are the very nurse, who took great measures to keep my loved, alive, until, I could voice the..................goodbye and go in peace
Thank you ( various , and many women) who have spoken in various states, and said, " this is how we do it here"..................I have learned far more that what cut of meat I am preparing.
I, thank all fianancial advisers, responders, who answered the hard question.........where does my money go?
I thank, those, so very many, who have entrusted me to lead them, to the point, that they have sheltered and covered my own weakness.............
I give thanks to those who, led me, supported me , believed in me, and shouted me forward.............
My MOST sincere " thanks", is to those who covered my own weakness, in choosing the way, that BEST covers your tomorrow.
God, please, help me, know how to help you!
My daughter, my parents, my sister, my nieces, and my love. Most definitely, my love. If even one of these had not been in my life, I could not possibly be who I am. And while there is much room for improvement, I would be so much less without even one of them.
To my lovely spouse, my lovely daughter, my handsome son, to my parents, brothers, sisters and close friends. To all people who made a positive significant influence in my life..
My partner, my family and then my friends from school who still form a close knit group.
Lot many people and so how can I name them. All my relations have a distinct place in my life. No one can take all the importance. Be it my parents, guardians, brothers and sisters, husband, friends, my son, nephews and niece, teachers and many more.
my wife without a doubt. ironically i wrote her a poem a while ago saying almost exactly that.
to the love of my life i really cherish his presence in my life. i feel so joyous and happy with him by my side. life is so beautiful and i just want my life to go onnnnnnn with him
My husband, soul mate, friend of 42 years, my children, my family and close friends where do I go from there? Old school friends, bosses, priest and the nuns in the convent have one way or another to be thanked for making me a better person.
Many I have forgotten but have made a huge impact to my life. One special person I can remember was an old tramp that lived by the side of the road between Torbay & Exeter 'Smokey Joe' you would often stop to give him food and a friendly chat. He never complained was always happy to see someone. You look back on this and say "what have I got to complain about" nothing.
God bless them all.
I think the obvious answer is Parents. I do agree too. But I would really thank my best friend "Sohil". The only person who has changed my life. Inspires me. Motivates me. Is always there when i need him....literally. My mid-night crisis friend. Though sometimes i have been not there for him, he has understood. The only person who knows me in and out. Nobody has understood me that well as him till date.
I would let my kids know how thankful I am that they are in my life. In fact I do that on a daily basis. They have helped me through so much and made me a stronger person than I ever imagined that I could be. The moment I became a mother I was forever changed ...
I would also thank my sister for being my very best friend and telling me what she feels even if she knows it isnt what I want to hear.
I would thank my mom for always being by my side no matter what I need help with, as well as for raising me to be a good person and good mother.
I would let my dad know (if he were still with us) that he is the greatest man I ever had the pleasure of meeting. He treated my mom the way a woman should be treated. He taught us kids right from wrong and instilled values that I still carry today.
There are many more I would thank ... but this is a start.
I would say this definitely to my beloved family members...especially my dear mom that has left me twenty years back...to all my friends that have inspired and encouraged me much, to my classmates that have given me so much of sweet memories, to the instructors that have taught me much about how to get myself fit and healthy and gain back a confident me...and of course, to those who hurts me much every now and then...
And, I won't forget to say this to both my dear sons that accompany me all these years...
"Thank You For Being in My Life or Having Been in it"...it definitely would go to you my dear friends in hubpages...thank you for inspiring and encouraging me all this while...thank you so much...
I wish I could say it to all of them. Maybe there are a couple I would skip but to even people who just said something nice to me on a below average day, people I worked with when I was 16, people I can just barely remember now. So many people touch our lives and make impressions upon us. Some we don't even notice. Others we notice a lot but can't get the words of appreciation out past our lips.
To everyone that has had an impact. Good or bad. You learn from both and "HOPEFULLY" they help to mold you into a better person.
I would thank my mom, grandpa, and my best friends Kathy and Ashley for being in my life. And then I would thank my grandma and Kris for having been in my life.
a person you had a close relationship with that had a positive impact on you.
My parents for sure, as well as some of my friends. They have supported me so much throughout my life so far. I also have an art teacher at school that is helping me put together my college portfolio, as well as giving me advice on creating a career in art.
I definitely would not be where I am today if they were not there for me.
A variety of people have been special in my life and sometimes you don't realize it till later. It could have been the kind words, gestures and giving me attention when I needed it the most. There are family, friends, co-workers and former relationships that have left a positive mark on my soul. I thank them all for being a part of my life!
I would thank the ones who were there for me who supported me and loved me without judgment. I would also thank those who were mean to me those who were not there even those who hurt me because they made me stronger a wiser. I am appreciative of everyone who has walked into my life good or bad.

This is sort of a touchy subject for me.I have been in relationships non stop for about 15 yrs until 2 yrs ago.I have spent time with myself but I still find it challenging to be completely alone.I don't know why. It's like so strange and so weird.I've always had a man to fall back onbut I don't...

What do you think would happen if more people delayed or chose not to have children? It is a personal choice to have or not to have children. However, would there be mostly positive results or mostly negative results if say 5% - 15% of the world chose to delay or not have children? What things would...

Why do most people see "Faith" as a point of weakness?Fear being, lack of faith and faith being lack of fear. To me, to have faith takes great courage.

Why are so many people selfish and mean, even to family members?Maybe I shouldn't be surprised any more, but why are so many family members selfish and hurtful to other family members? Life is precious, and flying by, and even if someone isn't your favorite person, why can't more just be kind...
